The argument in favor of customs of a country being followed by visitors sounds unreasonable to a great extent. As a result, many might change their decision for traveling to that a place if they are supposed to act and behave the way its residents do, because it leaves them feeling uncomfortable, which is not favorable to any country's interest. Quite the contrary, all the nations worldwide are trying to attract tourists, because of the range of contribution they make to the economy of the host country with the huge amounts of money they spend on goods and services, including foods, accommodation and travel. Besides, the more a country keeps to a tolerant attitude towards various cultures, the more it is apt to draw visitors. That is to say, with many countries largely depending on the tourism industry, I see being tolerant of different customs as a far‐sighted policy. There is something to be said for being open to other cultures for the host nation;, not only does it help the growth in tourism, but also native people will observe and learn of as todiverse/various variable traditions. In conclusion, expecting tourists to follow customs of the host country might have counterproductive impacts on the tourism industry.
