General reading task 1: You travelled by plane last week and your suitcase was lost. You have still heard nothing from the airline company. Write to the airline and explain what happened. Describe your suitcase and tell them what was in it. Find out what they are going to do about it. Dear Sir/Madam I have attended last week's flight from Paris to London identified by the number: X77CA6. Unfortunately, my suitcase was lost and I have informed the staff about the incident. They promised to get back to me in five days, but it has been a week since then and there is still no news. So I hope maybe you can help me out based on the high level service the airline provides. The suitcase is red with horizontal black lines on it. The size is slightly bigger more than medium and not very huge though. You can find a little scratch on the upper left corner as well as one below it. Its content is pretty much clothes and other personal belongings; For instance, my brand new trimmer and a couple of perfumes. I would really appreciate if you informed me of its status whether it is its the good news or bad because (as you already know) there is a limited time to file for the insurance company in order to claim for the loss. I Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks in advance for your kind cooperation. Regards, Sina

Universities should accept equal numbers of male and female students in every subject. To what extent do you agree or disagree In the modern world people attempt to educate in some universities for getting knowledge and experiment for their future life but universities want to find more talent and creative students. Moreover, nowadays it is a widespread belief that while universities' admissions choose choosing students, they must keep kept in their mind preserving equity/equalityequally between men and women. There are many arguments supporting both views, someone agree and the others disagree one not. On one hand, it is obviously that in the past there was discrimination between women and men and men excelled women in all positions of society. Thereby women had difficulty for continuing education. For instance a last century in my country they could not receive education should not educate unless they were born and bred growing up in a special family, like king family. But now this problem has been solved and equality has been established in between women and men because of this giving fifty‐fifty chance to both male and female students for getting higher education maybe useful and helpful for keeping fairness. On the other hand, some say says men differ from women, in that men are more logical and women are more emotional, so some fields of courses can be more helpful for women in the future and conversely some of them are more suitable than for men due to common culture of society. For instance some fields and jobs like nursing, teaching and social work seems that they are appropriate for women and some fields of engineering what there are suitable/proper for job position in big factory could be fit for men like positions in factories. In summation, I do believe that there are more beneficial outcomes in having an equal number of both male and female students in each subject matter in all academies in the globe. Sepideh

Critical Aspect of "Next Door" by Tobias Wolff "Next Door" by Tobias Wolff is a story about a stiff couple that are disturbed by the neighbors' quarreling. In the "next Door" the sterility of a couple's marriage is contrasted with erotic violence of the next door neighbors' marriage. The couple lie in a separate beds. It shows that their communication has reached to the lowest level. Based on this lack of communication and controlling Foucault discussed a theory. According to Foucault, the Panopticon offered a powerful and sophisticated internalized coercion, which was achieved through the constant observation of prisoners, each separated from each other allowing no interaction, no communication. This paper will be discuss this attitude in detail. Foucault argued the purpose of idea of Panopticon and said this happens in a the society that is always watched and controlled. This is internalized by people,. Therefore, they try to control themselves automatically. Based on the text, the wife wakes her husband because she is suffering suffered by neighbors' fight. The neighbors' marriage becomes controlcontrolled by a controller, but they did not gain any help from the controller. They try to block out the yelling by watching a movie on television. The primary couple seem kind and nurturing, particularly the husband who has planted flowers, cared for his sick wife, and carefully tries not to disturb her when she goes bed to sleep. But their marriage is characterized by separate beds within television in between them. They have a pet pat cat but no children. they do not complain to their neighbor even when he defecates on their flowers. The wife was once horrified to see the neighbors' passion in their kitchen after the man had violently beaten his dog. The woman is a horrible mother. This cruel, violent couple do have the energy of life. They reflect what is lacking in the primary couple who are too timid to defend their own home. Moreover, two aspects are in particular important. First, the system of social control and people in a disciplinary situation: in the text, not only does are the central conflict comes from the society but also from family itself. second, we have the power of the knowledge concept. In this view, power and knowledge comes from observing others. All modern mechanisms for controlling abnormal individuals derive from these. To sum up, The Panopticon induces a sense of permanent visibility that ensures the functioning of power. We understand how society and family are controlled ing, and how by watching TV Tv and other elements bring peace is brought on them for ownself.

Live Performance or Broadcast, Sahar Javadzadeht http://ieltstoeflcenter.com/index.php/workshop-speaking-writing/writing-workshop/2015-10-31-06-09-31/109-fridays-writing-workshop-1394/writing-workshop-friday-94-08-15/438-live-performance-or-broadcast-sahar-javadzadeht http://ieltstoeflcenter.com/index.php/workshop-speaking-writing/writing-workshop/2015-10-31-06-09-31/109-fridays-writing-workshop-1394/writing-workshop-friday-94-08-15/438-live-performance-or-broadcast-sahar-javadzadeht

A live performance vs. television broadcast Some people like to attend a live performance such as a melodrama, a concert or a sport match while others think that watching the same event on television is more enjoyable. People differ greatly in their attitudes toward this choice. Which one I prefer depends on my experience, lifestyle and emotional concerns. To be frank, I mostly prefer watching television broadcast most in (from my point of view). First of all, attending a live performance has troubles of its own. Not only must one must consider the timing deadlines of purchasing the tickets, but also one he/she has to pay attention to the variation of the ticket's price which may change during the time period allocated. In my country the price rate doesn't have a logical manner fashion and also it has got a name " Black Market " which circulates among people and it happens when some people buy a bunch of tickets online and then sell them it by their its multiplied price. So attending a live performance sometimes may cost three/3 or even four/4 times more expensive than the price of the ticket itself. The other disadvantages of attending a live performance is about the time which has to be allocated for a live performance. If one wants to attend the performance on time, he/sheone has to arrive there at least 4 hours earlier early due to the limited parking lots and also the crowd. On the contrary, watching a the live performance at home, where one can make oneself him/herself a cup of coffee, sitting back comfortably and relaxing, switching to the channel just the time it starts and watching the show closely and enjoying the realistic image and sound from the home theater system has its own joy itself. The conclusion that can be drawn from all of these is that attending a live performance despite all of its difficultiesy and extra costs, is not doesn't worth in many aspects kinds. Meanwhile, there can be some exceptions. For instance, If you are the fan of the team which is playing, one fonds of, it may be worth the cost which has to be paid paied and the time allocated.

In the modern world there is a movement away from written exams to more practical assessment. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this trend. Since the schools and educational systems have improved, different kinds of methods which used to evaluate students would have been suggested suggesting. The first and the most common one is written exams. Some believe that although, written exams are might not be the best way of assessing students, they would be the simplest way with the lowest expense. Two important factors, cost and simplicity, would be the case that it has been chosen as the most popular examination everywhere. On the other hand, in a wide variety of students' opinion including myself, written exams have the lowest lower stress among other sorts of exams such as practical or oral examinations. In stark contrast, nowadays some educational authorities argue that while, written exams might be an the effortless and completely unchallenging way of evaluating,; there might be more accurate and effective methods with fewer defects. If students are would be evaluated by continuously practical exams not only their theoreical knowledge, but also their practical abilities will would be improved. Therefore, they are likely to pass every stage with more experience and abilities. Besides, by adding practical examination in evaluating systems, students could get used to it and might control their sense of stress and nervousness after a period of time that would be helpful for their future in their social life. Consequently, if imposing cost and time that are necessary for implementation of recent methods would be ignored; practical exams are the most more ( a more productive) productive way for making progress in a student's life. To sum up, of all the among lots of methods that have been performed for evaluating students, a written exam is the most undemanding methods. Despite its simplicity, that might be considered as an advantage of this method, it is not the most productive and effective way. as a result, It is worth expending on educational facilities for enhancing the educational system effectiveness. To me, it would be probably a more efficient way to have different kinds of methods along with each other to evaluate students more precisely preciously with moderate cost.

Shima Some people suggest that children do not understand the world of work and schools should make all teenagers spend a short time working as well as studying academic subjects. To what extent do you agree? Reports often suggest that some schools offer work experience along with normal study, giving students the chance to gain some insight into real working situations while also having more traditional academic qualifications. Some experts and employers argue that some students graduate from school and university lacking the necessary tools to survive in the labour market. In my view, whilst it is necessary that the youth should acquire qualifications, it can also be essential to promote their experiences and develop conscience of what will be expected from them in the work world. For this reason it is good sense for teenagers to make some work experience as part of their education. Obviously, young people can adapt themselves to conditions of work and the employers's expectations. It can help them orient their plans and complete them to at the best of their abilities. By doing work experience , even if it is just making the coffee , the youth can identify benefits and drawbacks of working including time management and communication with other people commensurate owning to with their capabilities and knowledge. Furthermore, having work experience demonstrates diligence and weaknesses in a real working context, making students more employable. Not only does it give them a valuable advantage, but also offers them insight to; they are able to see what certain types of jobs are available entail at close range which will enable them to make an informed choice about their purpose porpuses. As be noted above, it is a brilliant/superb idea for students to do some kind of work experience

In recent years some countries have experienced very rapid economic development. This has resulted in much higher standards of living in urban areas but not in the countryside. This situation may bring some problems for the country as a whole. What are these problems? How might they be reduced? In this day and age, most of the metropolises have has boomed economically which in turn can be conducive to increasing citizens' life quality. However, it cannot be a wholly positive development since it may be the main culprit behind confliction among social and economic classes as well as altering the life system in marginal areas. Nevertheless, there are several means to deal with these ills like equal distribution of national wealth and illuminating/illumination of people's merits for themselves. To begin with, developed and developing countries have seen a period of economic growth in their major cities which causes a huge gap between people who live in these regions and their rural and marginal counterparts. Thus, not only does this distribution created complexes, but also it may lead people to revolt against the current/existing conditional life patterns in smaller towns and villages. That is to say, copying an urban lifestyle which is regarded as a more comfortable one, a multitude of skilled farmers and craftsmen leave their jobs and immigrate to big cities which may cause a serious change in their thinking. Having said that, administrations can play a major role in preventing to prevent the society from this crisis by dedicating more attention to economically weak proportion of the populace and poorer parts or the country. To make an example, the state can improve recreational facilities in these areas and provide the equal social services just like those in of major cities. In addition, authority figures can plan educational programs to show people the value and potential of their hometown in order to dissuade them from immigration and renew the sense of pride proud in them. In a nut shell, the gap distant between poor and rich in cities and villages has become a serious ill in this rapidly improving world which should be considered a deleterious problem that requires a fast response.
