Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? A person should never make an important decision alone. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. In our daily lives, we must make many decisions that all the results will affect mainly ourselves. Some people believe that we should make a decision independently, however, others think making a decision with the help of consulting group has a better result. In the first place, I believe that, it is important to know different points of view and different aspects of an issue when making decisions. For instance, when a student wants to decide which field of study she/he can take in university, it is better to consult with the advisor because she/he knows more about the grades, abilities and the interests of the student. In addition, when other people share their experiences, you can communicate better with new people and make a better decision. For example, when you want to do a beauty operation and you talk with the patients of a doctor who passed this operation you can better decide to do it or not to do. Furthermore, from my point of view, making decisions depend on the maturity of the person. Children and immature people have not a developed brain hence, they cannot imagine the consequences of their decisions. Besides, matures and adults can decide alone. In some cases such as marriage, travel, changing the jobs, the individual who makes the decision is the only person who is aware of all the circumstances of a certain situation. To sum up, if a person is making a decision in an unrelated field to his/her experience, consulting should be taken into consideration.
