Being a celebrity- such as a famous film star or sports personality- brings problems as well as benefits. Do you think that being a celebrity brings more benefits or more problems? Today, thirsting for fame and walking on red carpets under the spotlight has become commonplace and most people try to achieve it. However, the dark side of fame is hidden by paying too much attention of the media and people to the glamour of their life. Primarily, if you seek fame and enjoy getting public attention, you may not face any problem as a celebrity and you can share your privacy with other people, which it is too easy these days. However, if you are an introverted person who have has had this chance to become famous, like a writer or painter, you will likely lose your solitude. Paparazzi will chase you to take photos from your private life and you will not have the freedom to walk in the streets as an ordinary citizens or even shop in your neighbourhood. This problem not only can restrict famous people, but also causes great expense. Celebrities have to pay extra cost for any items and services. For instance, they have to go some special restaurants or cafes for a simple meal where normal people cannot afford to go, just to get away from intruders or they have to employ someone for running errands buying or dog walking which they might wish to do themselves. The Second issue, at least from some viewpoints, is having too much responsibility. Although some argue that social responsibility is a blessing that no one has this change chance to get it, in many cases you as a famous persone are not willing to contribute or get involved in itthem. Indeed, most artists or even athletes just need concentration for their job and high expectations of society would be harmful. For example, in most political conditions, people hope or ask celebrities for a reaction but while many of the famous are not political at all and eventually live on another planet. In conclusion, while some people endeavour to become famous and most likely, the problems that have been mentioned may be considered some kinds of advantages by them, in effect, most of the famous are normal people that have stuck on an unwanted condition and it seems that their world is not as charming as it looks from distance.

Decision Making, Ahmad Jalali http://ieltstoeflcenter.com/index.php/workshop-speaking-writing/writing-workshop/2015-10-31-06-09-31/292-fridays-writing-workshop-1396/writing-workshop-friday-96-12-11/1818-decision-making-ahmad-jalali http://ieltstoeflcenter.com/index.php/workshop-speaking-writing/writing-workshop/2015-10-31-06-09-31/292-fridays-writing-workshop-1396/writing-workshop-friday-96-12-11/1818-decision-making-ahmad-jalali

Some people believe that allowing children to make their own choices on everyday matters (such as food, clothes and entertainment) is likely to result in a society of individuals who only think about their own wishes. Other people believe that it is important for children to make decisions about matters that affect them. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. Nowadays, many psychologists believe that we should authorize our kids to make their own choices. On the other hand, some think by allowing children to decide to do whatever they desire they would grow some personality traits such as selfishness inside their behavior. In my opinion, although we should make the final decision for our little ones, we must let them be a part of the process of decision making. If a child makes his own determination, he will grow into a completely independent person. You may see many grown-ups who cannot make a simple decision and need help in taking the right choice. They have a dependent character. One of the reasons that may lead them into having such a characteristic, may be that they never made a choice by themselves and now they are not able to do this. Another benefit of permitting a child to make his own selection is that this decision making can be a fine practice for him to get ready for bigger and more important decisions in his future. The more choices he makes, the more prepared and experienced he will be in the face of/in front of his difficult future life's situation. As a result, when he turns into an adult, he can think better and this may be a huge aid in his succeessd. In contrast, an immature child has a high potential to make bad decisions. For example, if you allow a child to eat whatever he likes, he will choose snacks and junk foods all the time. Therefore, we should supervise kids' choices and guide them when they make wrong choices. In conclusion, not only does decision making guides a child into an independent personality, but also it is a fine practice for their future decisions. However, they may take incorrect choices, hence the importance of being beside them as an advisor(supervision).

"Employers sometimes ask people applying for jobs for personal information, such as their hobbies and interests, and whether they are married or single. Some people say that this information may be relevant and useful. Others disagree. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion." Nobody can deny job interviews and answers that are given by interviewees is are the most important stage of being recruited. The questions are mostly about skills requireds for the job, although they sometimes can be about an interviewee's personal life, which might seem inappropriate to some people. In contrast to others, me included, believe that the employers need the information to decide whether that person is a good addition to their team or not. Perhaps the main characteristic of job interviews for many is the uncomfortable feeling of being judged by others which will be worse when one they realizes it is not enough to just possess adequate skills for the job, since his or hertheir personality will be evaluated as well. It is very bothering for them to be asked about their personal life such as their marital status or how they spend their leisure time and so on. On the other hand, there are those who believe that the applicants' personality should be considered as well as their skill since strong confident staff can have a major impact on a company's success. In conclusion, although both sides of the argument have their reasons for what they believe, it is hard to ignore that much of what the employers can learn about the applicant's characteristics is based on what they ask in the interview about their belief and their life style. As noted above, I believe that those types of questions needed to be asked in job interviews, but also I believe red lines should not be crossed.

"Prevention is better than cure" Out of a country's health budget, a large proportion should be diverted from treatment to spending on health education and prevention measures. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? One of the first and most prominent factors of in society's integration is health. Two different prospects perspectives are involved in this issue. The former states that it is rational to allocate a considerable budget to researches into health and prevention measures as well. On the contrary, some believe the firstprevious attitude is as a waste of money and time. Although both opinions seem reasonable, the first outweighs the latter. That investing in educational health studies and assigning a corollas colossal amounts of money toon medical equipment require huge primary expenditure is a fact. This, however, prevents society members from catching the probably succeeding consequences of disease. Nowadays, developed and some developing countries have rebuilt and enhanced their medical infrastructures, albeit with economical difficulties. Indeed, it has been proved that cure is by far some times more expensive than prevention, hence their implementation. For instance, women suffering from breast cancer had not been aware of having cancer unless it spread to the whole body and the immune system wasis disrupted. Today, in the modern communities at least, cancer recognition facilities help prone susceptible people become informed of their genetic disposition and avoid tumor diffusion before the disease gets getting serious by less expense. In other words, not only does this preventive action benefit patients, also the whole society to maintain fit. To sum up, maybe perhaps, dedicating a separate budget to the program of developing medicine in both theory and practiceal field seems beyond government income, but it guarantees a higher standard level of living. In my idea, nothing is worth spending your life either financially money-wise or timewisely on healing in bed.

Punishment, Dalar Alahverdi http://ieltstoeflcenter.com/index.php/workshop-speaking-writing/writing-workshop/2015-10-31-06-09-31/292-fridays-writing-workshop-1396/writing-workshop-friday-96-12-11/1815-punishment-dalar-alahverdi http://ieltstoeflcenter.com/index.php/workshop-speaking-writing/writing-workshop/2015-10-31-06-09-31/292-fridays-writing-workshop-1396/writing-workshop-friday-96-12-11/1815-punishment-dalar-alahverdi

Some people believe that there should be fixed punishments for each type of crime. Others, however, argue that the circumstances of individual crime, and the motivation for committing it, should always be taken into account when deciding on the punishment. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. There are two different approaches encountering criminals, whether punishments should be fixed for each type of maleficence or the situation and mainspring of every crime should be considered. In my opinion, although each crime's reasons and wherefores should be envisaged, it is a hard work taskthough. In what follows, I will discuss more. Firstly, there is a perspective that each felony should have a certain penalizing., in this belief, there is a stable law for each crime type to be sentenced delivered regardless of the drivinge force. For instance, if a pedestrian is killed in a car accident, it is not taken into account if it was the fault of the murdered himself., that is to say, it was a deliberate suicide, but the rule is always against the driver in my country, Iran. Although this is a terrible occurrence with a fixed punishment, it may ruin an individual's life that had no deliberate purpose of killing someone. Hence, I think this kind of collision approach is unjustified. Secondly, there is another sight perspective fromin which the crime type is considered through the whole situation and reason the grounds that helps the sentence to be more justified. Particularly, there are, biologically speaking, unhealthy people that have the are potential to be murderers. For an example, the serial killer murderer of chained killing who does not has not have a very little brain part _called Libido_ in his brain has no idea about the feelings and consequences of somebody's death. So, it is better to send such criminals to madhouses/mental institution and take medical care of them., in this way, it may possiblye to keep them away from society and get him them back to a healthier life. In conclusion, two aspects of punishments whether sentencing via fixed rules for each crime type or a scrupulously process of looking for reasons has have lots of differences for the criminals, and as a result for the whole society. As I mentioned my point of view, I, personally, think the world would be a better place if we do did carefor each type of personality and their acts in order not to judge and decide with no concern of motivation deep downbelow.

Nowadays, more tasks at home and work are being performed by robots. Why do you think it is happening? Is it a negative or positive development? In this day and age, thanks to technology, more and more robots are being used to carry out individuals's duties in their daily affairs. Although each procedure has its own favorable merits, its detrimental effects should be taken into account. To commence begin with, people have searched for proper methods to perform their responsibilities and make their lives easier. Therefore, scientists invented robots to have access to this fact that these man-made machines are able to implement people's duties in their both homes and works. Besides, these devices can carry out their jobs 24 hours a day without being tired which can not only can these enhance productivity and proficiency, but also can save human beings' time to do their others tasks. Last but not least, robots do not ask for salaries, insurance, as well as other facilities which are totally beneficial, especially from an employer's point of views. It is rather obvious that technology serves as a double-edged sword. It can offer assistance to people to operate perform their duties cheaper, faster and more accurately. It, however, involves, however, a wide range of negative repercussions. Tax & Pollution, Amir http://ieltstoeflcenter.com/index.php/workshop-speaking-writing/writing-workshop/2015-10-31-06-09-31/292-fridays-writing-workshop-1396/writing-workshop-friday-96-12-11/1813-tax-pollution-amir http://ieltstoeflcenter.com/index.php/workshop-speaking-writing/writing-workshop/2015-10-31-06-09-31/292-fridays-writing-workshop-1396/writing-workshop-friday-96-12-11/1813-tax-pollution-amir

Some people think that the effective way to reduce pollution is to tax the companies which cause it. Others think that there are better ways to achieve this. Discuss both the sides and give your own opinion. While many believe that the industrial units contributing to pollution must be taxed significantly higher than others, opponents of this notion argue that charging those companies is not a neat solution. They opine that more effective ways must be applied to encourage managing directors of such companies to cooperate with people to reduce the level of pollution produced by such factories. This essay attempts to elaborate both standpoints together with expressing my stances on this argument. On the one hand, it is an indisputable fact that charging with higher tax from a commercial unit results in possible ways to increase the income to cover the expenses, high tax included. One of the obvious solutions, however, would be the an increase in productionof the product line, and the more production, the more pollution. Moreover, a slight increase in the price of products can easily covers high expenses, though this does not prevent companies from producing pollution. In addition to that, a significant increase in tax might oblige factory owners to lay off their staff, which is not certainly a target of the administrationtax receivers. On the other hand, if the owners recognize how importantce the reduction of pollution is, not only do they cooperate, but they also provide some effective solutions. There are so many lights, computer terminals, and air conditioners which can be switched off after working hours. Riding a bike inside the factory is another fruitful solution to lower pollution. Admittedly, there are would be so many other ways that could can be introduced and followed by factory labors if the importance of reduction of pollution would were realized. By way of conclusion, Once again I reaffirm my position that charging industrial units is not the permanent solution. Holding training sessions to improve the knowledge of factory owners along with labor force regarding considerable damages they are causing is more effective.

Recently published figures show that the wildlife of population around the world has decreased by around fifty percent over the last fifty years. What can we do to help protect the wildlife round the world? No doubt that many factors such as deforestation, global warming and water pollution in recent years have taken a heavy toll on wildlife in different ways. And obviously human beings are is the ones who should be blamed for all the mentioned destructive causes. Humans destroy jungles, where which are the natural habitat for numerous animals, to construct buildings and factories. Demolishing forests and plantations leads to food resource shortages for many kinds of living creatures as well. Thus, what we can do to stop this trend is introducing stricter laws which prevent humans from extensive exploitation of forest trees and human manipulation in the environment. An effective initiative that every individual can take to address the problem of global warming as one of the wildlife population decrease causes is using public transportation rather than their own cars more often. People can decrease green gas amounts in the atmosphere through cutting CO2 emissions resulted resulting from fossil fuel consumption and more utilization of green vehicles like bicycle. The Temperature rise on the earth affects the ecosystem gradually and degrades the wildlife habitats in terms of lack of enough food and water resources, hence the importance of curbing global warming. Furthermore, the other derivatives of human activities leaving adverse effects in the environment and wildlife subsequently is polluting bodies of water by discharging industrial wastes in them. Contaminating waters with chemical materials not only threatens the marine life but also puts at risk on the other animals which are fed via marine creatures. In conclusion, we , humans, as the major contributor in to making the world a better place for all living beings, should firstly take serious measures to stop ruining the environment and secondly implement urgent appropriate solutions for preserving the wildlife.
