It is better for young to get advice from older people than young people. Do you agree or disagree? There is a controversial topic amongst many people about giving advice to the youths. While many a person believes the priceless experience of the older generation is well worth listening to, others hold that the millennials had better consult with their peers/contemporaries/same-age counterparts. Though in many cases it may differ and we cannot generalize this important subject to all subjects, this short essay elaborates on both sides discussing the merits and demerits of both viewpoints. Perhaps an overwhelming majority of individuals subscribe to the view that our world has changed dramatically compared to even 50 years ago, hence the importance of consulting with the youths. I believe this is not a reasonable argument since many aspects of our life such as social values, respecting the moralities, and the concept of family as a basic pillar of human society have not changed by the passage of time. This is why I think our senior citizens can give priceless pieces of advice to the young generation because they once lived what their children are living. Having said that, we have to accept that due to the recent development in science and technology our ancestors are unable to give advice on the subject they do not have any experience about. Distance relations, epidemic diseases, and weapons of mass destruction are typical examples that the old generations either did not have or could not manage it properly. Such cases are the ones I wholeheartedly argue that the young generation had better consult about with the younger advisors/consultants. To cut a long story short, I must say that depending on the subject, the youths have to choose their consultant, but at the end of the day they have to learn that they have to accept the consequences of their decisions. Bearing in mind that no one is complete a combination of both the old and young consultants can pave the way for making an informed choice.

I personally believe that every person with any inclination have has a right to exhibit her viewpoints and teachers also are not no exception, however; they should be cautious about imposing their opinions on the students. In the following paragraphs, I, as an opponent to this topic, will outline my reasons. Firstly, schools and specifically teachers should prepare the students for complicated communities such as colleges, universities and occupational environments. The more students facing face various perspectives at school, the more likely they can later tolerate the various opinions, which are in contrast of to theirs. Forbearance, liberality and critical thinking ensue from listening to diverse attitudes. Only when a child encounters different or even opposite standpoints in the childhood, can she effectively adjust to discrepancies in the future. One of the vital roles of teachers is to train the unprejudiced students and the major way toward this point is the freedom of expression in schools. Secondly, one of the most important factors in the process of identity formation is the confrontation with divergent perspectives. Through the discrepancies, you can compare different ideas, compare various values and finally adopt your position. Psychological studies have shown that the adolescents whose relationships are limited to a few small number of people, which possess the same viewpoints, in the long term have more difficulty to communicate communicating effectively to with their co-workers and they will have identity foreclosure status- accepting passively the values of their parents with high commitment without exploring other ideas. On the other hand, empathy and openness are the results of listening to diverse views and two factors, which guarantee the a successful relationship in adulthood. To sum up, schools are the miniature/microcosm of a big community, which is comprised of mixed and dissimilar perspectives. The more the teachers present their perspective and allow the students to express their opinions and teach them to accept these diversities, the more the communities and societies accept other nations and notions, the less we will face war and conflicts within and between countries and the more beautiful and peaceful world we will have.

Some people therefore think that governments should pay university fees for students who study subjects that are needed by society. To conclude, although I see nothing wrong with considering some sort of facilitator for paying fees for some fields of study, governments should pay special attention to the people who seek to study in their favorite fields in which they are talented.

While some believe that money is the ultimate motivation for one’s hardworkinghard work, I believe that public recognition plays a considerable role in one’s hard trying/diligence because in that case they will establish a better reputation for themselves, receive admiration and set a great example. First of all, carving a niche in a working environment is something that needs to be taken care of, since individuals should show their true potential to others, especially managers. The case is seen clearly for those who work as an apprentice. Although working as a trainee does not bring any financial benefit, many other advantages will come along. Hardworking, being disciplined and responsible are among the factors that will impress everyone. In that case, if the person apply applies for this job as a formal employee, everyone in the company will confirm his/her capabilities. Besides, the more a person makes a name, the better working positions he/she will be offered. As a consequence, not only higher positions will be available for them, but also they will establish a deep rapport with their colleagues. Moreover, not all the motivations for one’s working is limited to money. Part of our human nature is to show off in a way that we receive admiration from our surrounding area. That even explains all the educational methods which are based on providing powerful incentives. The same goes for the working environment. Receiving a compliment, not only can bring more opportunities, but also results in deep happiness and more satisfaction. The examples are seen even in our daily lives, where one is playing an instrument in the middle of the street without asking for any money. Receiving loud applause for their sensational performance brings high joy and satisfaction, making them work harder to improve themselves. As a result, one’s self-confidence will boost dramatically in the long run. Finally, what guarantees a society’s survival comes from its citizen’s citizens’ alliance. The one clear example is the presence of charities for various purposes. Many join such institutions to make their contribution to those who are in desperate need. Volunteer members, not only do make a huge difference, but also set a great example for other people who are impressed by their deeds. When/once such people realize that their actions has have drawn public attention, they become more encouraged to do their best, making a difference which will benefit the whole society. If only each member of society exercised his/her responsibility toward others, the world would be a nicer place to live. Therefore, the general standard of people’s life will increase. To sum up, I believe that in general, people care about their public recognition more than earning money. because in this way there will be strong relationships, higher confidence and better welfare.

Most people agree that it is important to spend our leisure time properly. There is a great debate about as to how to spend our free time. Many people like to stay indoors and relax whereas some may spend their time visiting other places. I personally prefer to join a guided tour of popular attractions. There are several noticeable reasons two of which I will aptly elucidate in the following paragraphs. The most significant reason is that I want/wish to find out more and more about my country. Tours usually visit beautiful landscapes or ancient places such as buildings. Most of these placeswhich contain fascinating anecdotes and interesting stories. My own experience demonstrates this concept. When I visited Naqshe Jahan Square in Isfahan, I learned a lot about past rulers of Iran like what kind of weapons they had or what kind of plates they used to eat. If I had not visited this venue/Naqshe Jahan, I would have missed such valuable information about my country’s history which I really like to read about. Another equally noteworthy point supporting my choice is that these tours provide a great chance to meet new people. Visitors can socialize on the way to their destination in the tour’s vehicle and on the site they are visiting. My friend’s story is a compelling example of this. Three years ago, he joined a tour to travel to Rasht, a city in the northern parts of Iran, and the tour’s vehicle was an old bus. It takes so much time to get to Rasht by bus and it is a six-hour ride. So eventually, he started talking to a girl who was sitting next to him. They got along really well and stayed in touch after the tour. Now they are engaged and they are getting married next month. This example demonstrates how these tours can help people find new friends and partners.All in all, I personally prefer to go on a guided tour because I can obtain important information about my country’s past. For example, in my countries country it is common to gift children presents in the New Year, and most of the children prefer to get money and collect all of them in order to buy what they need after the holiday. In conclusion, there is an increasing increase in the number of people who have the tendency to gift cash because they cannot decide which kind of presents are useful for themselves others and they do not have not enough time in order to looking for gifts in markets.
