TPO 46 -w2 agree or disagree? it is important to know about events happening around the world, even if it is unlikey that they will affect your daily life. Although most people think what happens around the world has nothing to do with them, I believe differently for many reasons I will explore in the following essay. First of all, more information, more power. There is no need to say that how crucial it is to know more about what happens around you or around the world. This kind of knowledge definitely helps people to be more successful. My uncle is a compelling example of this claim. He has a big import-export company. He is always interested in the events around the world, even if it is an interior incident in a far country. When I asked him why it is important for you to know all the things, he talked about one of his experience. He said that many years ago, the relationship between the two neighbour countries got complicated and they did not have any trade with each other. Since one of those country does not have any agriculture industry, and all their needs were imported by the neighbouring country which on the specific time, they had conflicts with them. Thus, the government had the problem of importing agricultural needs.Meanwhile, my uncle got aware of this problem and could provide some requirements for that country, such as fruits. In this way, not only he helped other people, but he also made a huge profit. Additionally, it is a moral necessity for each person to know what is going on, in other countries, because we might help them in some circumstances. The example of poor people in Africa is a great one. Most people there do not have minimum standards of living which make them immense problems. One of this issues is that most people are afflicted with many diseases just because of lack of knowledge about how to protect themselves. And people in other developed counties, try to help them by making many volunteer groups. Although those groups might not have a huge fund to do the essential changes in those community, Just by teaching the poor people, the number of afflicted people diseases decreased over time. My friend, Sarah, was a volunteer of these groups. She told me that they went to poor African cities, to teach people about basic knowledge of HIV. And just by learning some fundamental issues about it, the number of afflicted person decreased after many years. Accordingly, it is crucial to know about other counties, because a person like Sarah can be influential too. In conclusion, thanks to rapidly developing methods of transportation and communication, the world is now becoming a small village. So it is pivotal for everyone to know about events in this little village. Because each person might do an action which is useful for himself or for other peoples.

Many famous athletes advertise different products. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it? Sportspeople have a great influence on people’s decision to purchase a wide range of commodities from footwear, apparel, to sugar drinks, cars, and even supplementary drugs. While there are certainly valid arguments to the contrary, I personally believe that the benefits of this method of advertisement far outweigh its drawbacks. This short essay will elaborate the pros and cons of such an approach to the advertising industry. Hardly a day goes by without a new poster or billboard of a professional sport player endorsing a commercial product. Undoubtedly most of us have seen the American basketball legend, Michael Jordan, with his famous Nike shoes and incredible slam dunks. This can persuade many people to buy the same product has been used by stars to enable them to act like the icons advertising such products. Many critics strongly believe that this can jeopardize people’s health if officials fail to manage it. Many a child or even teenager buys specific goods only because they saw them on a poster or during an official game used by their iconic character. Having said that, had famous sportspeople not taken part in such advertisements, many humanitarian activities would not have been known by large groups of the populace around the globe. A typical exam of this, is the financial and non-financial aids gathered by Iranian soccer player, Ali Daie, who drew hundreds of thousands of people to help the earthquake-stricken regions in west part of Iran. Looking to each and every movement of sport stars, an overwhelming majority of individuals can follow a healthy lifestyle providing the sportspeople only accept the products to advertise that they are sure about their qualities, and not the amount of payment offered to them. To cut a long story short, I believe people, athletes and shareholders of large companies can benefit from advertisement if appropriate laws are introduced, and constantly being monitored by officials. Only when the advertisement by celebrities is under surveillance of a group of experts selected by consumers, can we expect people from all walks to make an informed choice.

Many people visit museums when they travel to new places. Why do you think people visit museums? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. Nowadays rate of traveling rises among people worldwide. Most of individuals tend to know better other places and people. From my point of view, the easiest way to achieve this goal is visiting local museum. Everyone can consider visiting a museum as a completion of the adventure of knowing other cultures. A good illustration of this is that museum is the symbol of local people’s life-style. Considering observation of a city’s changes in terms of their lifestyle is only possible changing of every city’s habits of living, is available only in such places. Museums depict clothes, commodity, dishes, etc. which were used in that area. If you are interested in learning the history of new places, you would enjoy your time in there. Every aspect of history and today’s life of all walks of life is gathered in the best style and situation in a museum. Since every museum has a theme, individuals/each can choose based on where is suitableed for their taste. I personally love to know the culture of places by being in a small scale of there. All of the significant symbols in one specific place, can save your time. On the other hand, Modern art and future of inhabitants of a city are collected all in a gallery. There is no doubt that it can help you to find a vision of different sides of each place. Every governor try to show of how the city where they live, is pioneer in art and science. They provided this theme museum in the best quality. If you love to deal with forthcoming days of the destination where you traveled, you have no other option except visiting this kind of place. For instance the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art is a perfect example of what I’ve mentioned above. In this place there are held exhibitions of unique concepts of modern art and some scientific projects that can be attractive to different one’s styles. More and more are moving away from an agricultural background to relocate to cities in order to look for work. What will be consequences of this? What solutions can you offer? With no doubt, the number of people who are moving to cities, either to find a job even or to have better life, is increasing, which has negative impacts not only for immigrants but also for a whole country and. I will elaborate after-effect some of its aftermath of that in this essay. To start with, in many countries the quality of urban life, in terms of healthcare or job opportunity, is better in comparison with that in rural areas, leading to intense immigration to the metropolises. To exemplify, in my country, many a person have has came come to Tehran, the capital of Iran, and have hadhas been working there here hoping to earn more money. Moreover, diminishing farmers and lack of agricultural products will be inevitable consequences of continuing this trend. On the other hand, the influx of immigrants to the cities should be controlcontrolled by the governments. Providing the range of facilities for rural areas such as educational facilityfacilities, healthcare and investing budget to build jobs for those who prefer to live outside of cities will be helpful to decrease the number rate of immigrationnt to the cities. Besides, governments could exert their authorities authority to motivate people to move outside of the cities., as As an example, decreasinge the tax rate for those who work in rural areas otherwise rise tax in the cities as much as it is possible to stops newcomers to from flowing into the cities. The main conclusion to be drawn from this discussion is that , not only does has moving peoplepeople migration to the cities has made make metropolises overcrowded, but also have it has had negative effects on non- urban areas, and one of which is lead to lack of the decrease in the number of farmers, hence lack of food forfood's shortage in the whole country.

Nowadays children mostly spend time playing computer games rather than sports. What are the reasons for this? Is it a positive or a negative development? More recently, due in part to modern technology, many changes have emerged in humans’ life, one of which is open-air physical sports being replaced by indoor computer games for children. In this regard, there is a controversial debate as to whether this change can be considered to be progress or degradation. In this essay, I will elaborate both the bright and dark sides of this issue before giving my own opinion. On the one hand, urbanization has considerably made people's life environment crowded. To be more accurate, before, individuals were mostly living in a rural places with a friendly ambiance, which let parents have no worries while their children were playing out of doors. In contrast, today, many people live in the same neighborhood without even knowing a the simple name of each other. Regarding this, they do not care about each other’s property or children, hence a remarkable increase in numbers of kidnaped kids while they are playing games near their home. Furthermore, there are many computer games whose intention is directly improving offspring’s mind. Therefore, not only are not they not harmful for children’s health, but also some of them can challenge children’s/their mind to solve difficult puzzles, which contributes to promoting their thinking ability. On the other hand, based upon recent research, inside home computer games have caused many injuries to children’s health. To exemplify, playing long hours in front of his computer, not only does a child harm his eyes but also his back can be hurt by sitting long without any motion. Moreover, passing most of their time alone playing sedentary games instead of outside physical activities, charges can gradually become depressed, hence many isolated unsociable individuals. Last but not least, the environment, which children experience while they are playing outside is a small sample of society, which they would face in their future adult life. Thus, they can take full advantage of this period’s achievements in their future life.To put in a nutshell, although video games have partially tackled kids’ safety issue and have relatively fostered mind skills in youngsters, many a parents complains about inevitably irreparable consequences of these entertainments. Thus, in my opinion, a balance must be stricken struck between indoor and outdoor games to benefit from both method's advantages and minimize their dangers.

Some people believe that allowing children to make their own choices on everyday matters (such as food, clothes, and entertainment) is likely to result in a society of individuals who only think about own wishes. Other people believe that is important for children to make decisions about matters that affect them. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. Giving the opportunity to children to make their own decisions about daily issues that are related to them is a debatable topic. To some, by giving the right to choose to select their own clothes, foods, or plays, children become independent and can decide freely on some important matters that they will face in the future. Moreover, not only does it helps to rely on their own decisions, but also they have to accept the responsibilities of their selection. In other words, these choices are correlated to them; therefore, clearly, they would be made by themselves. However, some people think allowing children to make their own choices on everyday matters may lead to they them to be selfish and only focus individually on their own wishes. In this case, children do not care probably about the opinions of those around them. It should be noted, this matter may depend on which age children are. As many psychologists believe that children under 7 years of age, had better decide on their own matters based on their ideas. It helps to form their character gradually in the childhood and they learn considerably to have self-confidence. In conclusion, I think parents should give the chance to children to experience various conditions. Actually, there should be a balance between the decisions of children and parents about daily matters. Hence, for such simple matters like food, clothes or entertainment, it had better children had better make their own choices, but not always. At first, children must learn to respect the wishes of others in the family occasionally. Consequently, it is a vital educational problem that the needs and the opinions of others be the preoccupation of children especially in the future and in society.

Some people think that parents should teach children how to be good members of society. Others, however, believe that school is the place to learn this. Discuss both those views and give your own opinion. Raising children is always a huge issue for every parent and society. This has a key role in progressing society. All parents’ concern is almost to have a healthy, courteous and skillful child. There is controversial argument between peoples who believe thatas to whether it is the direct parents’ direct responsibility orand the schools’ duty to instruct youngsters and teenagers. From my point of view, both parents and school authorities are responsible for that and this is a mutual practice. To begin with, there is no doubt that family is a fundamental part of a community and it has a profound impact on progressing and developing a country. Obviously, parents’ behavior influences children’s character and mutually they see their parents as a first member of society and also as a role model. They exactly copy their parents’ act and learned how to behave at the first time. Parents who both are employed have no proper time to spend for with their children. So the situation are is problematic due to the fact that they are supposed to teach their kids basic etiquettes and manners in every aspect of life and these are necessities for having an appropriate lifestyle through as they are getting older. Eliminating the important parents’ role brings about rearing perplexed adults in future society. Although the role of immediate family for offspring is greatly important, Schools’ role model is identified as a key factor in raising polite, disciplined and practical nations. Moreover, during school time, children are hold held from being spoiled and occasionally feeling discriminated against. This is like an opportunity for them to be the same as others and try to their best in a competitive condition as others without any nagging. When schools or in particular teachers teach students lessons or some moral rituals most ofas them have to follow them step by step like written laws. Sometimes, schools’ authorities can inculcate their students with proper manners instead of what they are thought wrongly from their parents. It shows that not only, the school plays an educational role for children, but also has a bold role in instructing them morality. In conclusion, the debate will always remain between both ideas for assigning this responsibility. In my opinion, parents and schools are two inseparable parts of educating youth. We do not allow taking all responsibilities on schools’ shoulders. It is not fair and logical. Educating, training and fostering the offspring are an actuality which is not acquired without public cooperating cooperation of all parts of society.
