Demand for food is increasing worldwide. What is the cause of this? What measures can the international community take to meet this demand? Over the last few decades, the growing food demand has become a major concern among nations all around the world, this essay will look into some causes and will propose appropriate measures. One of the main causes of the rising food demand around the world is overpopulation. According to the a census, the world’s population is expected to increase by 2 billion people over the next 30 years. Therefore, this growth is driving up the global food demand. Another contributing factor is climate change which has a knock-on effect on producing enough food. This means that it causes rising global temperatures, reducing water supply and in turn drought. As a consequence, in some parts of world, farmers will have be experience experiencing some difficulties to in abundantly produce producing crop yields. The main responsibility for solving this issue lies with both the government and world renowned food companies which have to work together/in conjunction to reduce the mismatch between demand and the supply chain. First and foremost, agricultural businesses and companies should commit to a deforestation-free agricultural supply chain due to the reason that deforestation have has been shown to cause soil erosion, climate change and biodiversity losses, all of which all of them have inevitably negative impact on sustainability of food products and crops. Furthermore, some measures need to be taken into account by governments in terms of birthrates. Politicians of each country have to implement the ‘one child’ policy to curb population growth. china China is an obvious example of adopting this policy, which have has allowed them to prevent growing population and subsequently mitigate food supply shortages. Finally, dealing with this issue involves producing more staple food and ingredients by farmers using massively large of agricultural land and enhancing productivity on existing farming land through precision farming tools such as cutting-edge irrigation systems, and GPS fertilizer dispersion. Resolving this issue contains requires/entails/needs concerted efforts by the politicians to bring introduce the in a law ‘one child’ policy. In addition, international food company companies should follow the deforestation-free supply chain rule.

Countries are becoming more and more similar because people are able to buy the same products anywhere in the world. Do you think this is a positive or negative development? These days the world is faced with the phenomenon of globalization, which where similarity is one of its consequences. This phenomenon has advent come along with the speed of dissemination oftransport information and also goods and peoples, in as athe result of this increased accessibility of the same items we observe a lot more resemblance compared with the past, which in my opinion there are both negative and positive aspects in it due to various reasons. First of all, I tend to point out the matter of competition that comes with this wide spread of any new products all around the world. Somehow higher quality comes in the wake of competition because it has almost always been a substantial attribution that played a key role in markets. It is an undeniable fact that consumers prefer more quality items at lower prices. On the other hands, when it comes to cultures and traditions the negative aspects come up since the more individuals turn to similar items the paler local products will be till/until they may become disappear. For instance, many local languages that have been eliminated by now are a tangible example in terms of this issue. Last but not least, the drawbacks of this accessibility is are destroying destruction of local economies and shrinking of the much needed workforce, which leads to a higher rate of unemployment. Moreover, this also makes contributions contributes to a greater rate of crime. All in all, by considering both sides of globalization and similarity, I see it as a ubiquitous part of our today's day-to-day lives, so I strongly believe by professional managing societies are able to minimize its negative sides and harvest its benefits.

Nasrin, Punishing Murderers With the Death Penalty http://ieltstoeflcenter.com/index.php/workshop-speaking-writing/writing-workshop/mondays/503-monday-writing-workshop-1399/writing-workshop-monday-99-03-26/3591-nasrin-punishing-murderers-with-the-death-penalty http://ieltstoeflcenter.com/index.php/workshop-speaking-writing/writing-workshop/mondays/503-monday-writing-workshop-1399/writing-workshop-monday-99-03-26/3591-nasrin-punishing-murderers-with-the-death-penalty

By punishing murderers with the death penalty, society is also guilty of committing murder. Therefore, life in prison is a better punishment for murderers. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? There has been a heated debate as to whether serious criminals should be sentenced to die death or not. Some individuals claim that condemning a criminal to incarcerationin a prison is not proportionate with the toll that have has been taken on the victims’ families and society. While there are some compelling reasons to this notion, I would argue that capital punishments are is brutal and could invade human rights. On the one hand, it is an undeniable fact that the repercussions of some serious crimes linger for a long time in society and could endanger the mental health of citizens, so the offenders should be sentenced to the harshest punishment which is by and large the death penalty. Some believe that life imprisonment is not on a par with a manslaughter and the ripple effects of such a devastating/heinous crimes on next generations’ life. For example, that a mass killer will live in a jail for many years with the government expenses which are to some extent provided by citizens’ taxes is unbearable for the families of victims who bear the brunt of this these cruel offenses. In addition, a capital punishment could serve as a deterrent for prospective perpetrators since in contrast with other punishments there is usually no absolution or penalty reduction. probation On the other hand, imprisonment is a correctional facility with which society could shoulder its burden of rehabilitate rehabilitating offenders who in many cases commit a crime as a result of poverty, unemployment and lack of social welfare. In prison, wrongdoers are condemned in a place isolated from their beloved family and friends while spending time unproductively. Therefore, the sheer boredom of living in a jail could propel them to alter their attitude and try to become a decent member of society. In addition, there is always the possibility of injustice in trial cases due to different reasons ranging from lack of accurate information to accidental mistakes which could lead to irrecoverable losses which is undeniably the responsibility of society and the judicial system. In conclusion, many a person believes that a capital punishment is the only one that criminals deserve. Although these offenders harm the community on several grounds, I do opine that it is a controversial decision which itswhose drawbacks far outweigh its benefits./the drawbacks of which Social ills

Niloo, Government Fund on Space Travel and Exploration http://ieltstoeflcenter.com/index.php/workshop-speaking-writing/writing-workshop/mondays/503-monday-writing-workshop-1399/writing-workshop-monday-99-03-26/3590-niloo-government-fund-on-space-travel-and-exploration http://ieltstoeflcenter.com/index.php/workshop-speaking-writing/writing-workshop/mondays/503-monday-writing-workshop-1399/writing-workshop-monday-99-03-26/3590-niloo-government-fund-on-space-travel-and-exploration

BDo you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is a waste of money for the government to fund space travel or space exploration. Nowadays people's tend to travel in space has increased and throughout the history it has been they their dream as well as in many fictional stories. Some people argue that investing in this sphere have has long-term positive effects but some reasons persuade me to put forward that governments should not spend a lot of money on this area which I will explain with a couple of examples. At the outset, there are vital issues on the earth which precede space travel such as air pollution, wars, financial problems that governments should consider on them at first. For instance, developing countries whose people are in poverty cannot attend space exploration owing to the fact that/because most government investments are provided of with their people's tax/at the expense of the tax payer and when people are in poverty they cannot pay their tax, so if governments exert pressure for receiving people's tax, it causes people to be dissatisfied from with their government. Another point is that, this is an issue that which is researched every day and scientists' knowledge of this subject is not complete yet, so lack of adequate knowledge about this sphere/area/field may increase the risk of failure, so we should improve our knowledge first and then spend on it. For example, if governments more invest further in space education, it reduces errors in the manufacture of related equipment which will be conducive to government spending in this area in the future. To recap, although investing in space travel and space exploration can be beneficial for the future of humanity, there are more important/pressing issues in the world that are necessary for survival of humanity and besides investing in some subjects which we did not have enough information about, . it is not convincing to make this investment, so if we enhance our knowledge, we can decrease the risk of failure.
