"When people succeed, it is because of hard work. Luck has nothing to do with success." Do you agree or disagree with the quotation above? Use specific reasons and examples to explain your position. There is a widely held belief that the vital requirement for becoming successful is being assiduous. But some individuals believe that hard working is the only thing you need to become prosperous. Though, these people have several reasons to back their claim, I believe we need a more holistic view to consider the real role of luck in our life. Most of the people believe in luck when they experience a failure. In these times they cite call bad luck and environmental conditions as the main reasons for their failures. They are the ones who These men are whom believe that they themselves and their perseverance are the only causes of their achievements. Although, always reprimanding yourself in failures leads to lack of self‐confidence, I think sometimes finding the real reasons for these defeats would help to emerging bigger achievements emerge. If you check the list of the individuals with the highest IQs, you will find surprising results. For example, Albert Einstein's IQ is much lower than Sharon Stone's, or there is no scientist in the top ranked brains. Thus, we had better ask ourselves again whether just diligence with a mediocre intelligent quality could help emerge exceptional inventions or discoveries to emerge. In spite of his prominent position in history of math, Francois Galva, a French mathematician, would have triggered the math with a significant pace, if he had had an opportunity to live more than 30 years old. It is obvious that with just a little of chance and luck he would have d been lived at least twice his age as thirties while becoming the most famous mathematician of his era. I had a first‐hand experience with this. Several years ago when I was the first in the queue of passengers waiting for a taxi, a university student asked me to change my place with him, for he was late for his exam. We changed our places and he entered the first taxi and I the second one. After some minutes we saw the first taxi capsized and catch got on fire in a terrible accident. All the passengers including the student were dead.
