Leaders like John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King have made important contributions to the people of the United States. Name another world leader that you think is important. Give specific reasons for your choice. There are many important leaders in the world, although some of them are known for their affirmative effect like Nelson Mandela and Mohammad Mosaddegh, they are as much impact as the some who affect the world in negative way, either deliberately or even not such as Hitler or Alfred Nobel. I intend to name one of the most effective world leaders an Indian lawyer Mahatma Gandhi. Not only is he the leader of the India's independent movement, but also the philosopher of nonviolent world. He has become as a symbol of nonviolentce movements because he was against any types of violence as far as he had never eaten a piece of meat till he died. He got India's freedom from the Britain without any bleeding (In those days India was under the British rules that increaseds India's dependencyies in both financial and political areas). Mahatma's fights were copied modeled by many world efficient leaders such as Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela and so on. Another impressive point/issue/thing about Mahatma is his attitude toward the life. The wide Variety of religions is the main cause of conflict is included in the most argumentative things in the world. Unfortunately sometimes this causes the resentment in people. The people who are irritated can easily turn destine to the violence, as you know many of fights in history are religionous based. Mahatma could overcome this problem , although he was a Hindu, he said that he is a Buddhists, a Muslim, a Jewish, a Christian, and a Hindu. He also said all of them come from same place and if it makes you a better human so it's good enough for you .This point of view makes India as a peaceful country with so many differentce religions. The last thing that I would like to notice is his plain life. Indians paid a lot for expensive Britain made fabrics, while the number of unemployed people was decreasing every day. Mahatma decided to make his own fabric and dressed up just like the lowest laborors. However, he had spent all of his lifetime life times in the way of India's dependency he never entitled himself to get any extra wage. I think his life style is the story of honesty. In sum, I chose Mahatma for his manner and attitude as he said: "happiness is when what you think, and what you said and what you do are in harmony". He is an icon of the patience, the peace and the resi
