In many countries an academic degree from a university is preferred to vocational training. Nevertheless, we should educate more people using vocational training. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? Give your own opinion. In today's the competitive society for grasping decent job opportunities, especially among the youth, education can play a key role in opening up new horizons for seizing these chances occasions. In my opinion, not only universities but also vocational schools should focus on enhancing professional skills of their students. Some maintain that filling the students' mind with mere knowledge, regardless of the labor market's needs might render lead to plunginge the youth into frustration due to their inability in to finding a decent job. Nowadays, many countries are struggling with the economic recession that originates from inability of highly educated professionals to deal with such issues, so it is the obligation of the educational system to that help students develops job‐related skills to prepare students to work in such situations. However, the opponents claim that we must make a distinction between science and knowledge. The universities just have the commitments to development of straight mere science and consequently technology. Learning the related science leads to acquiring the rudimentary skills to dispatch the students to the labor market and accordingly honing such skills. Although, the basic mere science is a sine qua non of developing technology, it is not adequate per se. Take the example of Iran which is a country where the number amount of graduates the graduated students is more than that of the European countries and universities only serve to educate basic mere science. However, the betterment of technology in Iran is less than that of Europeans owing to the fact that they concentrate on vocational training. In overall, the universities should strongly put great emphasisze on easing entry into the labor market. Therefore, it is essential that the universities start to change their priorities commensurate with the necessity of the workplaces for the prosperity of the whole society.
