Task: Some people thank that is better to educate boys and girls in separate schools. Others, however, believe that boys and girls benefit more from attending mixed schools. Discuss both these views and give your opinion. Nowadays, in many countries there are two types of schools, single sex and co‐educational ones and it depends on parents' preference attribute to choose one. While there are persuasive arguments in favor of the co‐educational system, others believe that the single‐sex method is more beneficial. In this essay I will discuss both views and finally give my opinion. Firstly, some educationalists think schools should be a microcosm/small macquette of society and mixed schools are a proper representative for that. They believe that people should learn how to interact with the opposite gender tackle their behavior against opposite gender and it can be taught by co‐educational schools. In other worlds, mixed schools hone social skills of pupils. For example, partners who have been studyingied in mixed schools have had better perception of their husband or wife's wives manners, thus it is a privilege in their life to have life with less tension. On the other hand, some specialists believe studying in single‐sex schools benefits more for children more, since there is are less distraction in their environment and consequently they can focus on their job better. In addition, co‐educational critics believe that there are some differences between boys' and girls' interests as well as their ability for learning, so the single‐sex schools are more compatible adaptable with their students' character and ability. For instance, girls are keen on art works while boys are more interested in technical work, so this kind of schools can equip themselves with proper facilities stuff in comparison with mixed schools which need to meet both sides' requirements. In my opinion, both kinds of schools have their own benefits as well as drawbacks, but I believe that, since we are moving towards going into an increasingly social life, the benefits of co‐educational schools outweigh those of the single‐sex ones. benefits.
