Discuss both views and provide your own opinion with relevant examples. Nowadays most people believe that students should be taught a wide variety of courses in order to fulfill their ambitions. Some educationalists maintain that theoretical courses such as mathematics and physics could play a more vital role in students' life rather than practical ones. Nevertheless, some advocates are of the opinion that some subjects, such as carpentry or cooking might be more useful for students in future. To begin with, some authorities assert that in this rapidly changing world, science and scientific matters may have great value in a way that if someone cannot stay abreast of them, they he would lose their his position. since the most pivotal purpose of educating for many people might be finding decent occupation which it brings along both fortune and a proper workplace and the environment, students should be involved with more theory and science. In addition, it is believed that the major purpose of attending schools is more likely to train professionals in different fields. Therefore, so many practical subjects are just wasting time for them. On the other hand, some others think that practical lessons should be put in the curriculum because of their necessity for the routine daily life. There are so many students who do not intend to continue their education after secondary schools, thus they should learn the kinds of courses which those are more beneficial for them. Moreover, they believe that they are essential even for the students who are going to be either scientists or expert in any other subjects. In conclusion, although some education authorities think that adding more academic lessons to the students' schedule might lead to be make great changes in the education system, some others disagree and prefer practical ones to consist of high percentage of it. I, myself, tend to believe that both practical and theoretical subjects make complement of each other and all students profit from them together, so there should be a precise plan in which the balance is struck between them and both needs are considered satisfactory.
