Some people believe that new buildings should be built based on the traditional style. to what extent do you agree or disagree? Nowadays most of the people tend to live in the housing estates with multi-story car park due to their economic, social situation to such an extent that living in this type of modern or post-modern style of building is absolutely in common among most of people especially in urban cities .the majority of people believe that the obligation of modernism has forced them to experience this kind of lifestyle, though admittedly many of them would like to be linked to their past meanwhile they want a shelter for their livelihood so they choose the traditional building style. What arguably generally will be addressed in this essay is the level of inclination of choosing the modern or traditional building style while in the writer's opinion the high speed pace of urbanization leads people to select the modern building style rather than the traditional one which is clarified as in below. People would like to live in such places whose environment affects them to be more relaxed owing to their stressful situation they are prone to face with. Although, the traditional style of construction could be a as memorable history for individuals, the pace of urbanization and the necessity of required facilities according to advent of technology and advance of modernity lead most of them to spend their life in situations in which they could easily and cheaply be facilitated by estate-of-the-art amenities and furthermore change the decoration regarding their taste while they see much modern construction in their neighborhood such as sky scrapersper and well-designed business district whose novelty and work of art attract them and have influence on their taste and change the atmosphere of the city even in the inner cities part. As the figure shows the earthquake and other national catastrophic events play the main role in the number amount of dramatic deaths on a large in the great scale regardless of the other problems it could affect such as displacement and much more besides. That’s why speaking about the level of resistance of buildings against those kinds of disasters is are really influential. These days by using materials such as reinforced concrete, the level of solidity of buildings is are going to be more and more when it is compared with the past when the traditional style of building is not suitable enough to tolerate against those disasters. It is important to be expressed with population explosion there is a limited ground for construction house for every family if government consider traditional style of building in which it is unusual when we speak about apartments and housing state with maximum use of space for meeting the need of shelter for every family,. however, a the competent state tries to prevent avoid urban sprawl which is really ugly and is the biggest enemy of has lots of thing against a beautiful city . To sum up, it is crystal clear that although traditional style of construction create us so nostalgic feeling which has direct bearing with our culture, by considering the obvious reasons it iss important to catch up with the speed of globalization particularly in construction that could be as symbol of an industrialized country. vahid
