Some people claim that not enough of the waste from homes is recycled . They say that the only way to increase recycling is for governments to make it a legal requirement. To what extent do you think laws are needed to make people recycle more of their waste ? It has been years that we hear or we read about how important recycling is and how much it can help our environment , but some people believe that not enough of the waste from homes is recycled and governments have to make it a legal requirement . To a certain extent , they are right, but is would the interaction of government would be the best solution ? Firstly , it is believed that people should be aware of importance of recycling and how effective it could be in terms of saving resources and reducing pollution . This way they would have the will to recycle without any mandatory neededobligation . Media has a significant role on in this issue , people will learn about the advantages of recycling through media and social networks . For instance , short programs can be shown on TV or articles can be published in on newspaper and magazines . In addition , websites and social media are very popular these days , so people can learn about recycling from posts on Facebook , Twitter hashtags or photos on iInstagram or any other website . On the other hand , we should not underestimate the role of the government and law in for solving the recycling issue . According to what was mentioned before , some believe that governments should make it a legal requirenment for recycling . However , the possibility of this idea should be assessed . Referring to this opinion , waste from homes must be controlled to see wheather whether they are separated seperated or not , which is not an easy task to do . To conclude , environmental issues must be taught to individuals and they should feel responsible themselves . This could be done by increasing awareness and knowledge of people through media and government support .
