Over population of urban areas has led to numerous problems Identify one or two serious ones and suggest ways that government and individuals can tackle this problem The phenomenon of overpopulation has become a deeply entrenched problem for most of the cities and countries and especially for the industrialized ones with a huge number of companies and factories. In my estimation,s there are two reasons for overpopulation. one is the increase in/of the birth rate or decrease of/in the death rate in a particular area. the second reason and the most important one is people's migration into other cities or countries because of their own living place problems such as and shortages in job vacancy working areas or low quality of life. There are so many difficulties raised by this problem for instance: overpopulation in urban areas puts an excessive burden on transport systems and as a result various types of public transportation are overcrowded and people have to spend a remarkable amount of time in the streets and crowd. another issue is housing and working shortages for the local people of that area and they won't have the welfare they used to have. one way of tackling this problem is that governments evenly spread the features in all cities of a country so people don't have to emigrate to improve their living conditions. they also can localize the universities so that students don't have to change their living place and with improvement of transportation systems so people will not need become needless to travel through the city with in their private cars and this will remedy the traffic situation to a large extent.
