Topic: is studying history waste of time? I never forget that the time when I must had to study history while I had some more important lessons to be worried about. I think studying history for high school students is not necessary any more. Bbecause they are going to take the entrance exam the following years and should allocate most of their time to studying major lessons rather than wasting their time on for unnecessary ones. I assume that students of secondary school have some history courses but not too much. One book each year would be enough. University students should not take history courses because they are supposed to focus on their own major and be experienced at them. If not, they may lose some important courses which is not acceptable. Although spending much time on history is not wise, everybody should be aware of his/her their country's history. As everybody knows, knowing history is a decisive factor for future decisions because history is going to be repeated during humans' s life. One example of this matter is the world war II which is definitely linked to the world war I .Having information about these events can be useful/having such info could have prevented the second war. Another reason is that according to today's hectic-pace life studying history seems to be useless. It is indisputable that the world is changing into a rat race. Thus, there would be no conclusive reason for wasting time on nonprofit futile issues like history. All in all, on account of the previously discussed reasons, in some situations history should be taught and in some others it is considered a wasteing of time.
