Even though globalization affects the world's economies in a positive way, its negative side should not be forgotten. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. Nowadays it is often claimed that globalization have has played an important role in our life in different ways and it has had a significant increase with on an unprecedented trend in recent years. Contrary to this popular belief, there are still those who argue that although globalization has a positive impact on different aspects of our life, it has detrimental effects as well. On the one hand, globalization impels domestic markets to work with international companies which have has a remarkable impact on economic growth. Moreover, this contribution establishes many job opportunities particularly in developing countries and this trade trend is profitable not only for internal companies but also for other companies all of the world. Besides, people worldwide can get to know each other better through globalization and become familiar with different cultures. On the other hand, trading with other countries affect our culture. For instance, teenagers wear the same clothes or shoes instead of local clothes or even eat the same foods like KFC that is are now almost ubiquitous, so people are only distinguishable with their language causing many cultures likely to disappear. Hence, some people doubt that this means progress and they fear for their native culture. On the basis of the points mentioned above, I am inclined to believe that countries have benefited from of globalization in different ways. However, governments should put some limitation on/for trading with other countries in order to maintain local culture and promote globalization at the same time.
