Some people believe that playing a musical instrument can be beneficial in many different ways. Others think it is a waste of time to play a musical instrument. Discuss both views and give your own opinion. Music has always has been an inseparable aspect of human life in each society and most people have tried to play it even once. However, there has have been a lot of arguments between some seeing advantages of learning music and others opining that it is a completely valueless act. Some people state that playing musical instruments has significantly positive impacts on our brain performance. These people argue that someone training to read and memorise music notes can memorisees other things like academic subjects better. Many researches have been conducted about the effects of playing music and the most of them approve advantages of learning music on the memory especially on children. Moreover, there is a lot of evidences that manifest children who have followed music curriculum constantly are usually more creative than their counterparts. Another important reason that are is evaluated as a merit of playing music is its effect on our social life. It seems that people playing an instrument usually contribute cooperate with others to play together as a musical group or a band and this contribution helps them to become more social. Nevertheless, there is are some groups who believe that music and playing it is are useless. These people usually insist that ordinary people do not need to know how a piece of music should be composed or played and it is a professional job for musicians. From their viewpoint, we could just enjoy listening to music and focusing on our own job and even some extremists believe that music is a worthless behaviour of people and must be stopped. In conclusion, while it seems that learning a musical instrument sometimes is a timeconsuming process, it is inconceivable that we ignore all the research outputs regarding learning music and more unthinkable that we abandon fun and intimacy of playing music.
