TOPIC: When a country develops its technology, the traditional skills and ways of life die out. It is pointless to try and keep them alive. To what extentd do you agree with this opinion? You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence. With emergence of various technologies that are affecting all aspects of our social lives, it may seem as if traditional skills are becoming obsolete. However, traditional skills still have a special role to play in society. "Technology versus traditional skills". This essay will provide arguments surrounding this issue. Some people state that the traditional skills should not alternate substitute technologies. The impact of technology in modern life is immeasurable. To begin with, we use technology in on a daily basis to accomplish specific tasks or interests. It has become pretty easy to get access to relevant information at anytime and anywhere. By using labor-saving devices, many companies save a lot of times, money and energy. Therefore, many people prefer to use modern technologiesy instead of maintaining the traditional ways as they become more productive with the modern tools. On the other hand, there are some opponents who disagree with the above perspective. They argue that some traditional ways of life are still important and valid for our lives. Not only are they perceived as/considered heritage from our ancestors, but also they indicate our culture. Furthermore, lots of people earn their livelihood via traditional practices which who, with the advent of technology, they have lost their bread and butter. In conclusion, despite some controversial ideas over the discussed topic above, I would argue that only when people try to combine both traditional skills and technology, can they make their life better/turn a new leaf. For instance, the combination between hand art painting and Photoshop software will be a great innovation. People can create extraordinary works in this way.
