Governments should spend more money on railways rather than roads. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? People have different views about whether or not government should pay more money on railways than roads. To a certain extent I agree that government should spend more money on railways in order to promote the quality of them. However, the value of roads in transportation is undeniable. In on one hand, the roads are the main means of transportation in all countries which allocate the most percentage of transport with cars or buses. Hence, the more is population grown, the more roads are needed, so that every year governments spend huge amounts of money on constructing various kinds of roads such as bridges, roads on the seas both inside and between the cities or even building international roads to connect with neighbor countries. While the main portion of the transportation budget is goes for paths, investing in other means of transportation would be considered to supply the sought ????? of the population growth. On the other hand, increasingly raised the rising population is the main cause of environmental problems such as air pollution, so governments have the responsibility of eliminating these issues. In my opinion one of the ways that government can address this problem is to encourage people to use public transportation such as subways and railways instead of driving. As the kinds of railway transportation are more new than using vehicles, the need of promotion and large investment is considerable as well. Providing more railway paths such as subways and monorails are is more environmental friendly. Besides, those working with renewable energy fuels as in particular are according to sustainable development purposes. Thus, Expensing expending money in this way can not only can lead to conserving the air more fresh and the sky more blue, but also could transfer more passengers every day. Lastly, railways which are on the ground, would gift allow the passengers to take in the spectacular scenery and memorable moments. In a nutshell, in order to have sustainable development, governments should ensure that they to provide all types of transportation methods for the cities.
