Young people in the modern world seem to have more power and influence than any previous young generation. Why is this the case? What impact does this have on the relation between old and young people? The youths of today play a prominent role in almost all societies, and by passage of time this is becoming more and more impressive. One of the main reasons of such a change is the advances in science and technology which have generally been made by the young generation. The reason and consequences of newly young leaders will be discussed in the following lines. New achievements in science and technology has certainly revolutionized our world during the last few decades, and the new solutions especially in telecommunications demanding new skills which are mainly under the introduced or learnt by the young generation. This level of competency made the youths’ role more significant. The more achievement in technology, the less becomes the role of the senior citizens in a society. Unable to work with new facilities, most of senior citizens are dependent on the youth. In this day and age many youngsters are praised more than enough by large companies, and this by and large made them proud of their unexpected positions. Proud of success in their career, the youth rarely spend time with other members of their family especially the elderly which regrettably leads to loneliness, and its irreversible consequences. Weakened the emotional bonds between parents and grandparents is a case in point of prominent role of the young people in modern societies. To sum up, I hold the idea that although the influential responsibilities of the youths resulted in catastrophic results, we are obliged to go through it if we expect to enjoy new facilities. Entering a new era demands passage of this undesirable period. Only after we pass through such a terrible path, and experience its deleterious impacts, can we expect finding its deficiencies to build a better future for humanity.
