The Internet has dramatically altered our lives over the past few decades. Although some of these changes have been negative, the overall effect of this technology has been positive. What are your opinions on this? No sooner had the internet brought out the modern lifestyle into societies than a lot of discussion have risen about the effects of this phenomenon. Like most of new technological advancements, the internet has its own negative and positive aspects. While some people may stick to its negative results, I believe to its effective performance in human life. No one can deny the negative aspects of the internet. It has replaced many of the real communications with virtual ones. As a result, people see each other less frequently and this leads to weaken family relations. What is more, the provided facilities by the internet includes wide a range of data which are accessible to anyone. Hence, some contents may not be suitable for all and can render especially younger people vulnerable. In addition, children would be overwhelmed by the charming exterior of the internet and may lose the real world. Far from being futile, the internet play an important role in our lives. It provides a proper foundation for progressing in all fields of science. Researchers and students are able to deepen their knowledge by accessing to cutting-edge achievements all over the world. Even the internet makes it easy for a teacher to hold online courses for students in the remotest places. Furthermore, in comparison with previous decades, people are able to do their chores more rapidly as well as more conveniently. For instance, nowadays, booking a hotel or ordering food from a restaurant can be done like “piece of cake”, thanks to the internet. On the whole, with the advent of the internet, our lives have been changed significantly. Although it has some unfavorable effects on social relations of human or may includes inappropriate contents for younger people, I believe its benefits outweigh the drawbacks. Facilities like rich foundation for scientific advancements or suggesting more convenient methods for doing things are provided by the internet and all these will result in a bright and promising future for mankind.
