The world is consuming natural resources faster they can be renewed. Therefore, it is important that products are made to last. Government should discourage people from constantly buying more up to date or fashionable products. All natural resources are finite; then we should consider that some of these reserves are not renewable and will be diminished in the near future. In this condition, the main aim is how we could consume the natural reservoirs while all requirements of our modern life will be satisfied and our energy and material reserves will be used optimally. I want to explain why fashionable use is the antithesis of this target. I believe that the fashion market is against eco-friendly activities and I raise some arguments about that as follow. Firstly, we should consider that vogue’s aim is beauty and necessarily beauty and ecosystem are not in contradiction but what produces in fashion industries is used in a short period of time and it concludes more consumption of energy and natural reservoirs. At the end of this process, the used materials could not be returned as raw materials. Therefore, we just have disposable materials which have been produced from our limited sources. Secondly, the capitalism, by using fancy advertisements and creating some fake requirements which are not absolutely necessary or essential, encourages people to use up to date things and deplete the resources anomalously. Therefore, non-renewable sources will be run out. By increasing raising a consumerist society, living beings on the planet will be threatened. All governments shall consider this peril and put aside their transient profit for saving the life on the earth. In conclusion, I should say that although humans need diversity,; which is not an essential need, we should be aware of the danger of natural reservoirs’ lost loss which threaten us and society legislators should be in charge of the controlling the consumption of their realm.
