Traffic jams and inexorable pollutions caused by cars’ fumes are have been two big main issues for modern megacities in recent years. Some argue that, omitting the subsidy on fuels like petrol by the government, is the best way to solve the problem for of traffic and pollution. I agree with this as an encouraging measure to increase the price for petrol in order to decline decrease the pollution and traffic problems provided that, other aspects of such a decision would be taken seriously too. First, the problem for of heavy traffic is mostly because of using private cars for short ways which is an environmentally-destructive behavior that results in omnipresent pollution and traffic. Although elevating driving up the cost for petrol would discourage people from overusing their own cars, the government should devise a method in which the quality of the public transportation system increases in a way that it becomes a viable alternative for daily travels. For example, the government could dedicate some of the profit/revenue of increasing fuels’ price to buy new and convenient trains for urban travels. Also, the problem of pollution has many reasons these days one of which is using fossil fuels that release a large amount of co2 and other damaging substances that makes the globe warmer and more polluted. for this issue increasing the petrol price may have a role to in keeping the urban air pollution reduced, but we should consider that the best way for overcoming this would be finding a good replacement for fossil fuels, like renewable energy. This issue will be accomplished if all nations take it seriously and collaborate with each other worldwide. In conclusion, although I believe increasing the petrol prices is an undeniably a wise measure, the government should consider toenhance enhancing the public vehicles in order to make it possible for citizens to easily access them all around the city. it is important to think more deeply about pollution problem worldwide. Keep, consider, mind, enjoy,
