Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Teachers should not make their social or political views known to students in the classroom. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. When you reach a certain age, to have an active role in your society, you need to choose your point of views about political and social matters around you. And these kinds of views are something that we must choose with our own thought. I accept this statement and I would state two reasons for support. For beginning, I thing when teachers present their political or social interests in the classroom, they probably affect their students mind. In addition, these ideas could be wrong or dangerous. Scientifics researches shown that most of our characteristics formed in our early life, which include the time we spent in schools. So, suppose these students who would soon become more active in our society, who are infected with poisonous thoughts. In result, our society would probably face serious challenges. For instance, in many undeveloped countries which does not have modern educational system, this problem shows it sharply. They accepted ideas about political or social matter and treat them as if they are were a fact. This blindly accepting other ideas could have dramatic side effects. Like radicalism radical thoughts. And the only things that could stop this flow is improve the ability of thinking and interpreting in our society. Which is not possible if do not try to teach this skills at our schools instead of feeding our child with ideas. Secondly, children need to learn how to think and interpret their environment. The ability of deduction and thinking is one of the valuable aspect of humanity. Education systems and specifically, teachers need to flourish this ability. Nonetheless, with just feeding the idea and views to children we guild them to being a neutral person, who accepts others’ views without even thinking. Without these abilities, we would not have new point of views in our society. Which is important because, without this diversity among ideas we would not have things like democracy or other theory in our political and social life. For conclude, developing abilities like deduction and perception is important in order to, have good and active society member. Besides, feeding idea to children is not a good option because, it could make their mind bias toward some views. And, this could have dangerous consequences.
