Your car insurance company has told you that they are going to increase the amount you have to pay in insurance for your car each month. You are not happy about this. Write a letter to your insurance company. In your letter, explain  Why you are writing to them  Why you think the insurance should not be increased  What you want them to do Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this letter in response to a letter that I received recently from your insurance company’s representative informing me about a surge in my car insurance cost. I have held my car insurance with your company since 5/five years ago. During this time, I have never had any accidents or any reason to claim from your company. Thus, I think that I am entitled to ask for a substantial discount from your company. While I understand the car prices have increased recently, I found the suggested amount of monthly payment rather unfair. That is to say, the 20% increase in insurance prices is not on a par with the inflation rate. Moreover, there was were not any extra services motivating me to accept the new insurance contract. I suggest that you revise the insurance costs and the contract considering the discount that you could have offered me. Otherwise, it is in contrast conflict with/in violation of the code of consumerism/customer orientation and there would be no other choice but to change my insurance company. Yours Faithfully Nasrin Shamlou
