Agree/ Disagree Today parents are more involved in their children's education than were parents in the past. Children need constant care to nurture and grow. Education as an important part of each child's life, demands specific attention from parents. I personally believe that in this modern era parents are much more involved in their children's education process and I feel this way for three reasons. To begin with, decades ago parents were extremely busy working on lands and old-fashioned ways of doing their jobs. With the advent of modern life and new technologies, the amount and toughness of work which individuals had to do have decreased. Therefore, people can spend less time at work and more time with their families and children. For instance, years ago a farmer had to work hard several hours on his farm to prepare the land for cultivating crops. However, with new equipment, today farmers are relieved from that amount of work in order to get the same amount of goods. As a result, this farmer can pay more attention to his children including their education. Furthermore, people tended to have more children than now. Families were crowded with many children and parents could not pay specific attention to each child. Therefore, the education of children was not fully addressed by parents. In contrast, parents nowadays have fewer children and as mentioned above have more time to be spent for each kid and his/ her education. Last but not least, parents in recent years evaluate education as a vital factor in their children's nurture and their future life. This increased positive evaluation of education in comparison with the past is a crucial factor explaining why I believe parents take more care of their children's tutorage. To sum up, I firmly believe that parents give more attention and are more involved in their children's education for these three reasons: more free time each parent have has than the past due to economical changes, fewer children in each family that need individual attention, and the more positive evaluation of education nowadays. I hope to witness the days that each kid receives that right amount of attention and care from his/ her parents.
