10/April/2021 It is easier for parents to raise their children today than it was 50 years ago. Agree or disagree? Hardly ever can anyone call into question the significant role of parents in children's life. The question arises as to whether bringing up kids nowadays is easier or not. I wholeheartedly adhere to this belief that in today's modern life children rearing is not more difficult compared to 50 years ago on the grounds that technology and lifestyle have advanced. First and most obvious, nowadays medical equipment and access to healthcare facilities are conducive to saving a lot of children's live. In other words, in the past the quality of health care was extremely poor and children may have died due to simple viruses or infections. The best example is, although Hepatitis A and B are dangerous diseases which can adversely affect infants, by discovering the vaccine in 1991 they are in control. Besides, public transportation has profoundly improved which offers safe and fast travels to families. For instance, parents can allow their children to use public vehicles such as the bus, the taxi, the subway to go to school which was not common 50 years ago. Therefore, it goes without saying that both advancements of in medical facilities and public transportation systems have made raising/rearing children easier compared to the past decades. Another striking point is about enhancing the education system which makes parents more knowledgeable than the past/previous time. For example, there are plenty of books are written about the right methods of child rearing, so families have less fewer challenges to face in terms of bringing up their kids. ,so parenting has less fewer challenges to face. Moreover, with the advent of thetechnology especially the internet, in today's modern life parents rarely spend quality time with their children, so they can undertake their tasks regardless of hearing children's grumbles owing to the fact that kids can spend their leisure time by playing online games or social media such as Tik Tok. Hence, as is clear today children rearing is more convenient based on the education system boosting and the internet. Last but not least, even though some people state that in today's modern life parents are more struggling with their hectic life style and they are extremely busy with their jobs, they have less time to take care of their children which is a big drawback,. however, I strongly believe otherwise maintaining that this mindset is nothing but a tunnel-vision which overlooks the importance of the abovementioned facts and as a matter of the fact babysitters would be solved this problem. To recap, on the basis of the reasons that I were mentioned above, in my view nowadays raising children is easier rather than 50 year ago.
