Some people believe that it is more important to teach children the literature of their own country than on other countries . Do you agree or disagree ? Owing toconsidering that the literature which is a cultural heritage a question that arises is . it addresses the question of whether or not children should learn their own culture or exotic literature. I, for one, assert that youngsters should be fostered to learning their literature rather than that of other countries. Firstly, it must be said that each country has their its culture which is an integral part of their its civilization. For promoting this culture, we need to teach the children. The literature encompasses a wide range of stories, popular mythologies and collection of poems that all play a leading role in showing a country’s culture. Therefore, youngsters should be encouraged to be familiar with their literary heritage. This fulfils a valuable social function in terms of bringing children up. In some cases, it leads youths to hold it ing in their honour and boostsing children’s sense of self-confidence. As a case in point, we could mention that scholars who have studied about origins of writing pointed out ancient civilization attributed origins of writing to Chinese, so children who were born in this country could be in honour of this phenomenon. A further well-known factor is that youngsters could be a member of literary communities, and evolving their knowledge of this major, A major segment of popular poets were known by those. Although studying homeland’s literature has crucial influences on children’s characteristics, it should be acknowledged that foreign literature may be an outstanding resource to the accompaniment of ours. In conclusion, it seems advisable that children focus on their own country’s literature, because this way they will be able to better know due to the fact that it brings about subsequently they could be preferable to knowing their culture and civilization.
