What are the advantages and disadvantages for the child of having a large number of toys? Nowadays, There is a great deal of controversy as to whether providing a lot of toys for children is deleterious or not. In this essay, I intend to explore the advantages and disadvantages of this phenomenon. On the one hand, most people throughout the world are increasingly prone to buy/buying toys associated with enthusiasm, energy and passion of their kids. Firstly, during childhood milestones, it is through playing that kids can learn cognitive skills and develop their hand-age coordination and colour cognition. Moreover, one way to occupy children is to encourage them to play with their toys. But, why not let them make their own toys. By doing this, not only do are they inspired to be more creative but also parents can keep them entertained without spending a lot of money, hence a more creative and independent future generation. Finally, children can be taught to be responsible for taking care of their own properties as well. On the other hand, purchasing toys to excess results in some psychological and physical difficulties. At some stage, children who have a lot of entertainments may pay undue attention to their playthings. Interesting though they may be, these tools serve to distract children from their school curriculum. Another associating problem is the passive and solitary nature of modern forms of toys, which must be played under supervisory supervision of parents, otherwise there will be an increasing increase in the growth of obesity and isolation between kids. The more they spend on playing, the more alienation with their families they experience as children. In conclusion, I believe in modern society where children grow up are grown up in a parentless environment and parents buy more toys to compensate their own absence, adults should place a premium on supervisorysupervision. |
