Sanaz Namdar Topic: Many university students live with their families while others live away from home because their universities are in different places. What are the advantages and disadvantages of both situations? University education can have some various effects on students, one of which is living separately from their families owing to accepting in university located in other cities. Some are for this notion putting more emphasis on its merits and others are against it. Living with their folks during university education can be considered an opportunity for students. Due to sky-high costs of dwellings and food, students can save this respective budget for their future by living with their parents. Timewise, in lieu of allocating their time to doing repeated household chores, they can focus on their studies and planning for their career decision. Through drawing a comparison between families’ supports of students living independently and those of their living with families counterparts shows that the latter are more successful in their education. Moreover, this loss of supports may lead to irredeemable consequences in their spirits. For instance, some of them may not conquer their homesickness feeling. On the other hand, being separated by virtue of going to university can be utilized as a transit period to assimilate into societal mainstream smoother. Although being great at first glance, unwavering supports from families may defeat the object on offsprings. In fact, when they are exposed to relentless criticism by their parents, they may become exhausted. Consequently, leaving the folks may lead to not only can their privacy be compromised, but also they may rid of a huge amount of families’ advice. Besides, their skills can be honed in terms of financial and communicative affairs.In conclusion, the issue of students leaving the families as a result of studying in universities is a current affair. There are some drawbacks as well as advantages which are opined by individuals and scholars on this issue.
