When a country develops its technology the traditional skills and ways of life die The past 50 years have seen a dramatic increase in the spread of telecommunication technology. This rapid progression would condemn us to a lifestyle taking the place of traditional ways of lives. Despite the undeniable prosperity and convenience it has brought to the world, I would argue that we should never forget all traditional behaviours and skills. On the one hand, it is an indisputable fact that modern technology has revolutionized ways of our lives. Most of us have benefited greatly from it in many aspects such as communication as well as transportation and education. One particularly example of technological advances is the reduced time of our every day’s lengthy commutes as well as promoting high qualified facilities. Similarly, the internet as a cutting-edge technology has placed the entire world at our fingertips and it has helped us not entailing long hours in traffic for our daily tasks. In other words, today many old habits and customs are eroded because of ubiquity of technological developments. On the other hand, we should not dismiss all traditional skills as outdated. In my opinion, in every country, tradition and customs are integral elements of every single culture and it should not be substituted in any way unless it is incompatible with the needs of life. There are also useful values and ways which are applicable to modern life. For example, in similar way of our generation we could gain prosperity and well-being in our work place not only by attaching great importance to hard working in a competitive market but also by placing a premium on politeness and good manners which are seen as traditional characteristics. I believe that people would lead to a happier lives if they had a more ‘old-fashioned’ sense of community. In conclusion, due to technology progression, the line between work and private life is much more blurred and people are more alienated with their traditions. Given the seriousness of this problems, I would contend that people should make every effort to preserve our valuable traditions.
