Increasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve growing traffic and pollution problems. To what extent do you agree or disagree with the above statement? What other measures do you think might be effective? In this day and age, air pollution and traffic congestion have become serious problems especially in big cities. One of the main grass-roots of these concerns is related to the source of energy like petrol. Some individuals believe that augment increase inof the price of petrol in is the best solution to conquer aforementioned anxieties. My firm conviction is that other ways except increasing price of petrol could have positive effects on mentioned problems. I will discuss my solutions to tackle this issue. In my estimation, increasing the price of petrol is a short term remedy. Most of personal and commercial vehicles besides tremendous factories need petrol and other kind of oil products to operate. For instance, in my country, Iran, The government had decided to increase gasoline and diesel petrol prices ten years ago but this decision had a low influence to on traffic jams and air pollution because all of the people need their cars and they had are forced to pay extra price. Another aspect of this remedy is related to the price of other goods and materials. It has domino impacts to increase the price of essential foods because of increasing transportation cost. The major responsibility of this matter is related to the government. Now a daynowadays, all the car factories have triedtrying to product produce eco-friendly vehicles based on renewable sources of energy like electricity or Hydrogen to produce less emission in comparison with petrol vehicles. The government should perform strict lows laws for using conventional vehicles and encourage people to use hybrid, electrical and fuel cell automobiles. Last but not least, it must performed impose/introduce huge tax and other restrictions to enter vehicles into the city center or put it on the amount of pollution that each vehicles productproduces. To put it in the nutshell, all individuals have are responsible to our environment and planet. By respecting to worldwide rules and reducing of petrol sources, we can hope our planet will be saved for upcoming generations.
