Compare the advantages and disadvantages of three of the following media for communicating information. State which you consider to be the most effective. Comics, books, radio, television, film & theatre? In the last century, human beings have been faced with the huge amount of technology such as presence of computers, software, new devices and AI, which has altered their life. Although nobody can deny that technology has paved the way of life for people, there are some disadvantages which they struggle with in their everyday living. Moreover, in such today’s world, the speed of the information transfer and the opportunity of communication of individuals have become easier than the past. There are various types of means that can transmit the information by real and legal entities and some organizations, such as books, radio, television, film, theatre and the Internet. I believe that three of them have more effect on their recipients than others. Television, films and comic concepts are extremely influential to in people’s mind. Obviously, the popularity of television, different types of films and comic books or movies leads to excessively using and obtaining more of their impact of them. Through such means, the proper and educational information can be shared with ordinary people. However, it may bring about some misinforming too. Sometimes, television programs show people some violent films or some inappropriate scenes which lead to misguiding them or with by bombarding them with advertisements can develop a consuming culture in society. Always, children are the most vulnerable ages faced with the media. Therefore, there is a need to confine them to watching less TV. Clearly, all TV’s programs like coins have two sides of effects, negative and positive, and without a doubt, the effectiveness of them directly depends on every individual. For instance, although some comic programs with funny aspects can positively impact on society, there are some unwelcome influences too like some inappropriate prevalent slangs mostly between/among mostly teenagers. In other words, television programs have immediate impact on youngsters and films and alsoas well as books have long-term effect on society as a whole. The significantly important key about films and also comics comics’ ones is that they can depict all the written stories from books which impress their recipients intensively. Scientists have said when people are happy and laughing a lot, their ability of thinking and learning rises and they become smart and can grasp educational idea easily. In conclusion, the types of media with both visual and audial sound effects are more influential to the people and written information solely has less impact on them. According to the scientists, in a happy moment, individuals can learn better than when they are depressed. I believe that through comic concepts we can instruct/educate peopleeasily, but there is a possibility of the presence of sarcastic sarcasm which may lead to some misunderstanding between people’s communication.
