Many parents and teachers think that we should supervisor supervise children’s activities, others say that children should have more freedom. Discuss both views and give your opinion Supervising children’s activities by both parents and schools has always been a controversial subject. Though some advocate controlling children’s activities by adults, others support more flexible methods of parenting. In this essay I would clarify both sides though, my personal view is in favor of the latter attitude. On one hand, supervising children could partially save them from various risks, especially in today’s’ world where children have easy accessibility to a wide variety of information through the Internet some of which might be unreliable and misleading, providing children with inappropriate data for their age,; pornography could be an excellent example in the case. What is more, the free internet connection at school has enabled pupils to create relationships freely via diverse ranges of applications, leading them to fall victim in to abduction or negative influence of peer pressure. In this pointsuch circumstances, supervising this age group, who could not distinguish fake information as well as tricksters among the ocean all flow of information, might seems rational. Conversely, it has been proved that severe restrictions in the nurturing process has opposite effect in some cases in that avoiding preventing children from doing something might adversely stimulate their sense of curiosity, causing they them to do that later whenever they find themselves alone. This could put them in a more hazardous situation in which might be irrecoverable later on. Besides, it is advisable for both teachers and parents to act as a role model, leading children to absorb codes of conducts and ground role rules of behavior from them. This provides an opportunity for children to experiencing experience anything on their own while carrying conventions in mind which they had been taughtthought at school and home as well. All in all, I wholeheartedly opine children are required to grow up-up under indirect adults supervision both in parental and educational environments, trusting their abilities and recognition not only do provides them with a more enjoyable childhood, but also they can havehaving more mature adulthood.
