Transportation is becoming an issue in majority of countries. Some believe in order to solve this problem, new railways for superfast trains should be constructed. However, the option of investing on in the existing transportation and advancing them it should be considered. a Plethora of countries are facing over population growth. As a consequence, many major cities are having traffic jam problems all day long. And most of people’s valuable time is wasted in itthem. Not surprisingly, workers and students probably will be late for their jobs and classes and due to the stress and tension caused by traffic, they will be less efficient and more tired. Investing on in constructing highspeed trains railways might save people’s time. Not only this would this be beneficial to the city residents, but also it may decrease the difficulties of rural travelling as well, since many employees who work in the city live at in the countryside side. Kuala Lumpur as a salient example, dedicated a vast budget on to this type of transportation over a decade ago. People living there are spending less time in traffic now and are more active and efficient at work. Workers who do not live in the Kuala Lumpur are getting to their work on time more often. Although investing on in fast trains could be the answer, some people believe this is an act of wasting money. Building new lines for high-speed trains and people becoming used to using them, is are a timeconsuming process. Therefore, with this high rise in population growth, this might not be a proper solution. Since the result of tackling the traffic problems should be immediate, it would be more adequate to improve the public transportation that the countries already have. By substituting the old taxis and buses with new ones and dedicating special lanes to them, would be more beneficial. As major cities are facing environmental problems, if these new transportation vehicles are either hybrid or electronic, not only would they help with less emission of toxic gasses, but also due to their technology and using the special lanes, they will reach their destination faster. Therefore, people who have this type of view, think this option is more efficient than the previously mentioned one.People’s need of for public transportation is rising every day. The faster and more suitable the transportation vehicles are, the more chance there would be that they opt for this one. Since one of people’s concern is using a type of transport that does less harm to the environment and also gets them to their destination faster, they would choose the one that has both of these properties. Thus, investing on in the existing public transportation would be more proper.
