Many people believe that it’s better to learn something in a group rather than individually. Do you agree or disagree? Conspicuously, nowadays there are a wide range of learning approaches, although half of the people follow the two fundamental groups learning in group or in the private environment individually. Some people argue that learning with others has many benefits while some other people disagree. Accordingly, a couple of reasons in agreement and disagreement will be explored in this essay. One of the advantages of learning in a team is that students can have a golden opportunity to deal with different people with different attitudes and from various walks of life. For instance, people, specifically young generations, have the ability to develop and cultivate relationships with others. Research has showed that working as a team pays off handsomely for many groups. Thus, the more effective approaches teachers, parents and mentors choose for encouraging students to work in participation, the more enhanced their abilities become to stablish intimate relationship with others. Some students prefer studying alone than studying in a group due to some underlying reasons. Firstly, they have their own study style and enjoy studying their own way. They assert that they cannot match their studying style to that of their friends. Secondly, they can maintain a higher concentration when they study alone because they do not get distracted by the presence and noise of others. Therefore, they pace themselves and regulate their study hours based on their own schedule so they can study whenever and wherever they feel up to it. Undeniably, team works have has plentiful gains because individuals can grab a vacant opportunity to exchange notes and pool their ideas with many different classmates of their concerning related course that they have. Additionally, they develop better understanding and insight into course materials cooperatively as well as collectively. It is evident that each person has a limited set of skills and a finite knowledge base. Hence, having everybody on board and setting the right expectations is are absolutely crucial. To sum up, some people believe that the advantages of learning teamwork are uprightoutweigh the disadvantages, while others feel the need to work alone. By Learning as a team, people improve social behavior and every one has different views on the same subject, which is really beneficial to witness as the saying goes, “two heads are better than one” but by learning alone people adjust their time better. I adhere to this belief that depending on each person and the personality, people can choice choose the best way of learning.
