Many filmmakers made a movie based on books. When a movie is produced based on books, some people prefer to read books before watching films, other people choose to watch the movie first. What do you think? Many movies based on books have been produced which where the movie is has been more popular than the book. Some bookworms believe that most of the filmmakers do not feel bound to books, so they might change literature masterpieces according to their ideas. As a result, reading the story before watching the movie is important. However, the others guess the books and their movies are parallel and watching a movie translates into reading its book. I think if you read the story beforehand and then watch the movie, it can be more enjoyable. First and foremost, it has been proved that reading can improve imagination and creativity. When you are reading a book, you try to create your own imagination of the imagine characters, scenes, and places according to the writer’s descriptions, but when you watch a movie based on a book, in fact, you are observing the director’s imagination not yours. As a result, if you read it afterward, the characters and the scenes which the filmmaker has depicted will be in your mind. Second, there is no doubt that there are some limitations on in producing a movie, consequently, the films might not be able to show everything which has been mentioned in the text. In fact, the book is crammed into a movie. For instance, although the lord of the rings movie is an extraordinary picture, some parts of the book which is are related to the background of the story has have been omitted. Moreover, I personally believe that books can convey emotions and involve you in the story more readily than movies. To cite the reason, the former can take several days and the latter lasts for a few hours. For example, I watched Chernobyl series and then I read Voices from Chernobyl book. The feelings I have experienced through the book are not comparable. Finally, I think when you watch a movie at first, there is less possibility to read the book. In other words, you deprive yourself of a more detailed story and concepts. Besides, some movies might fall short of their books and the story be wasted. To sum up, I guess despite the fact that the benefits of books are more than those of pictures, the moviemovies also have their own benefits. The point is that none of them can be a substitute for the other.
