It has recently been announced that a large shopping center may be built in your neighborhood. Do you support or oppose this plan? Why? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer. Accompanied by a violently rapid pace and excessive hunger for economic benefit, the definition of development is descending to the progress which definitely affects all aspects of human life especially that of the living place and constructions. Although I am completely acquainted with the advantages of new huge buildings like malls gathering all sort of facilities in one point, I go for the idea of “Every every affair requires its own condition”, hence my contradictory position. First of all, sectioning into different parts, life is becoming a less integrated phenomenon due to our new lifestyles. In this novel way, not only do we break our time into various portions dedicated to some apart separate activities like educatingeducation, jobs and personal life, but also we divide our presence in unbelievably far distances according to the form of our new cities. The latter, of course, is done, hoping to reach revive the lost quality of life. Shortly, we are almost obliged to work under an unbearable tension in our workplaces so that rarely can you find a person who is not finishing his/her job wishing to go “home sweet home”. A large shopping mall attracting many people to the neighborhood renders it almost like CBDs. Simply asked, is that sweet home is to be drowned in that suffering torturous pollution and situated in an overwhelming populated area likewise the work-place? Living this damaged fragmentary life, I opine that, we have lost enough not to ruin our zesty neighborhood which is safe and sound enough to redress our frustrated souls. The supporters usually refer to the economic effects concurring with the emergence of these malls like new job opportunities or even some new infra-instructions coming with them like public transportation and new roads, on the other hand. Ostensibly, they promote new job vacancies in local areas but obviously, many of them are occupied with their own employees and the remains rest are typically some low positions with unacceptable wages. Much Worse of it, with new incompatible businesses coming by these malls, the local market will be ruined. I can remember an old family book store in my uncle’s neighborhood which no sooner had the new mall found its place there than it was obliged to shut down. The fact is that many of the local businesses left their work and I think had not they not voted to those newcomers, they would not have to be being a worker of those unidentifiable lords. In a nutshell, these shiny buildings lackhave not a morally acceptable place in the heart of neighborhood since the quality of life and the innate power of independence will be lost, albeit they are besthad better be suited in CBDs or outskirts.
