Tpo 34- 362 words Educating children is a more difficult task today than it was in the past because they spend so much time on cell phones, online games, and social networking Web sites. Agree or disagree? Nowadays kids spend a great amount of time on utilizing cell phones and playing online games but determining whether these behaviors have made teaching them more difficult than the past or not is considered a controversial debate. Some believe using social networking Web sites has a negative impact on children’s education as opposed to people who frown upon this idea. However, I am of the second Idea and I have two points in support of my view point which I will mention in the following essay. To begin with, developing technology has made it much easier to educate children irrespective of their age and intelligence. Due to the fact that every kid loves to play computer games which is why it is a great opportunity for teachers to use computer games in a positive way. By utilizing computer games for teaching students we encourage them to spend more time learning and this way of learning is by far more efficient. Learning lessons while playing computer games is not only more practical, but also more enjoyable for kids. My own experience is a compelling example of this point. When I used to go to primary school I learned English via watching cartoons and playing online games. Secondly, thanks to developing technology which has made it easier to access information and students can reach information only by a click and they do not need a teacher by their side in order to clarify lessons and information for them. Tutors too can extract information from the websites and teach children effectively and even search for new methods of teaching in order for their students to learn better. For instance, these days using the internet is a part of the educating process and teachers inquire ask students to search on the internet for doing their assignments. To cut a long story short, the aforementioned claims points and examples show that using cellphones and leaning are not mutually exclusive at all. I opine that playing online games and using the internet help kids to have fun and learn lessons simultaneously. Moreover, tutors can benefit from technology in their own way for example by finding out up-to-date methods for educating children.
