A large number of deaths are caused by road accidents. Why do so many road accidents occur? Make recommendations that would help to reduce the number of road accident. In the past decade, the world has shown tremendous growth in the number of private cars, which has become a ubiquitous part of our day-to-day lives. The possession of a car has had plenty of advantages that encourage individuals to have one, but unfortunately, this useful device has resulted in many regret by casing so many casualties and disasters. This essay will address the contributor factors and also preventive measures which should be taken into account to mitigate this exorbitant cost which just has been referred to. In such cases, we should never forget this saying that "prevention is better than cure". Now, what can we do? Actually, when we take a look through the main causes of road accidents we simply find that the primary reasons go back to drivers due to bad driving habits, drunken driving which seems to be an increasingly widespread problem, carelessness and so on. Another major reason is over speeding. It is obvious that the faster you drive, the slower shorter your reaction time will be if you need to prevent an auto accident. Observing the determinate determined speed limitation is of great importance here. Promoting initiatives intended to heighten people’s awareness and reminding grave consequences of these recklessnesses, including permanent injury or loss of loved ones can help to take drivers’ attention to became become better observants of laws. On the other hand, improving roads’ condition and equipping them by providing more facilities such as speed control devices and speed bumps is are of great importance. All in all, it is causes for regret that annually the high road toll is robbing our society of many people who could otherwise be leading useful and productivelives. From my view, it is one of the most society's imperatives to protect itself from these losses.
