Nowadays there are many tourist attractions all around the world which are offered and promoted by the government, and one of them is museums which .Museum preserve and represent the history, tradition, and many other important aspects of a country. In some museums people have to pay an entrance fee, which I think it is a good idea, but not in the others. The following essay will explain in details the pros and cons of this issue. First and foremost, museums are keeping cultural heritage of each country, so these places have diverse expenses like renovation , maintenance, staff cost, utility bills and other costs/expenses/expenditures.so on. Even if they get public fund, it will not won't cover all of these expenses hence, if people pay for the entrance fee, the government will relocate funds to other organizations like education, health service and transportation. In addition, if museums were free, some people would spend their idle hours there and disturb other visitors. Psychology has have proved that when people pay money for something, they appreciate it more. furthermore, these people may ruin/threaten/damage hurt cultural heritage. On the other hand, it is believed that there are a number of students who are studying in poor districts who and they may not be able to get a chance to visit museums and art galleries and they should not be deprived of visiting exhibits some stuffs which belongs to their ancestors as well. Another concern is that museums are becoming less popular than before and youngsters would rather to spend their leisure time on mindless fun. To sum up, authorities should identify recognize poor students and pave the a way for them to appreciate , in order to they get some value from these artistic places, parents, teachers, and governments should encourage young people to go to these places instead of idling away. forking out and lying about.
