To what extent has the traditional male role changed in the last 20 years? The traditional men's role has been subjected to significant changes due to technological and social revolutions we have been experiencing for the decades. This is not the case anymore in the most advanced or even developing countries where that masculinity and consequently the roles defining in compliance with are considered the main and sometimes the only acceptable ones.in fact, not only the male role has changed amazingly, but also sometimes times men have to abandon some for more effective reconciliation between new urges of modern life. First and foremost, I believe since the free and proper education have become more viral in comparison to the past the more women have had the chance to go to universities and obtain higher degrees. Therefore, the old expectations have has been altered gradually. The new educated and talented females strive for changing plenty of stereotypes in regard to female role which has and it affected men's man role too. for instance as they demand the greater proportion of job market the employment has become a more challenging issue for men, so that they are assumed the only provider of the family anymore . In on the second place, I opt for social developments .in the past we used to see men doing hard works. nowadays it does not seems odd at all that a girl works as a successful civil engineer or even a bus driver whereas, her husband takes a more active role concerning nurturing children and doing chores.in other words, the lines separating male and female roles and responsibility are not clearly distinguished anymore thanks to our new point of view in regard to with the abilities and characteristics constituted femininity or either masculinity. On the third place, some maintain that the technological advancements overshadow physical supremacy of men. In consequence, those types of activities which required strength and agility currently are delivered with machines operated by either men or either weman.as a result, we usually do not assign the roles based on gender specifications any longer. To sum up, men and women both need to accept the changes in their conventional roles owing to the fact that some of these variations are inevitable and in many cases are necessary for our society to overcomes gender discrimination and sustains productivitye and thriving.
