The mass media, including television, radio and newspapers, have great influence in shaping people’s ideas. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? Nowadays, the mass media can have profound influence in people’s notion and opinion. People in different ages follow the television and radio programs according to their interests. It becomes more common that people use the media such as radio, television, newspapers and the Internet to receive international news and to be entertained. The media accelerate the spread of culture and lifestyle. We can see young people around the world become/bacoming more similar in some features like music, movies, hair and clothing style and generally their attitude. style. There is an improvement in some inappropriate social behaviors which is are discussed in a medium and are is given some tips to resolve themit, based on census. Therefore, the media is a good approach to develop the culture or address some serious social problems. For instance, global warming, shortage of water and health care are important subjects that could be discussed in a TV program or in a newspaper article. To be realistic, the media play a prominent role in shaping to shape people’s ideas but this is not always a positive impression/effect. Although people can gain moral values and knowledge from media, sometimes they find it useless and boring. Do all the TV or radio programs or newspaper reports attract us? On In some occasions, some media do not cover all the news around the globe or spread it with a bias which might lead us not to trust this certain medium anymore. Of course we should consider that if they were not useful and reliable, it would achieve a negative result and would cause the reduction of audience.
