Some people believe school children should be given multiple short vacations, while others believe they should get one long vacation. Give the advantages of both and express your own point of view. While some people believe that students should be away fromof school for a long time once in a year, others think it is better to divide students' theitr holiydays into several shorter ones. Both views have some advantages and disadvantages which is are discussed in this essay. Having a long vacation each year is the most common system in the world nowadays. It creates an opportunity for both students and schools to prepare themselves for the next year. Students have enough time to follow their interests that their lessons don't include them, and schools can be improved or repaired without disrupting their teaching programs if it is necessary. Furthermore, having more time to planning, parents can arrange their holiydays so families are able to spend some time with each other or have a trip. Finally, a long vacation can be a chance for students to participate in other social activities that are as important as studying, but they need time and energy so children can't join them during an academic year. Although having multiple short vacations for students is not as popular as a long one, it could have some superiority. Firstly, pupils are able to recover themselves mentally a physically several times in a year so their performance may increase. Secondly, a long holiday may be boring for children while they enjoy every moment of a short one. Finally, it is much easier for parents to manage to be at home for a short time although however they should work during this periodstudents' holydays. In conclusion, as it is mentioned, both systems have some advantages that make them valuable. I believe having a single longer holiday can prepare more benefits as regardssince/given it has been implemented in many countries for many years.
