Some parents buy their children a large number of toys to play with. What are the advantages and disadvantages for the child of having a large number of toys. Children are currently brought up in an impartial ambience. In some families, with a sort of affordability, children can have plenty of toys to get amused, while some others cannot afford to give their kids as many toys. On the positive side, wealthy parents leave their children no obsession in their childhood concerning materialistic possessions. To explain, kids who have toys as many as they need feel no obsession due to no lack of them in their lives. To put it another way, they are satisfied with their status quo as a child and can be better of communicating with their peers while playing. These kids have no shortage in their homes thereby fully focusing on their due activities compared to those not having toys in their place of living. Therefore, they can simultaneously think at ease and joyfully play amongst their kids’ community. Having said the positive side on buying toys for kids, many are of the opinion that the converse ideology might be righteous claiming that this amount of care and attentiveness in order to buy them various types of toys may backfire at them. These conduct may embody and instill a sense of entitlement into innocent children. As a matter of fact, the more they receive the toys and whatever else, the greedier and more spoiled they become. Then, In the society they develop a monopolist attitude toward their peer; consequently, they will become impudent and selfish, hence isolated form their mates. As outlined above, buying kids a lot of toys, parents can have sound or adverse impacts on them, either of which has its own proponents and arguments. Those who advocate the argument posit that the kids are more prone to be successful and concentrated in their daily routines as a kid, while those who oppose believe that it may inculcate egotism and sense of entitlement in them ending up rejected from their friends.
