366 words When people succeed, it is entirely because of hard work. Luck has nothing to do with their success. Agree or disagree? This is such a controversial subject. Some people believe that chance always has had a direct impact on people’s lives and their succession. To me, chance is more like a myth than reality. Having said that, when I was younger, I would definitely have said that luck plays an essential role in our successions, but for two reasons which I will explain in this essay, no longer do I think that way. To begin with, I reckon that being successful in any aspect of life requires enough knowledge, so for being prosperous in your way you need to read a lot and reach data in order for yourself to learn how to use your skills and manage your time without wasting it. Moreover, you need to try hard and insist on your objects. As the saying goes ”if you get tired, learn to rest, not to quit.” That is why I consider hard working and obtaining knowledge important factors for being successful. My uncle’s experience is a compelling example of this idea. He is a big manufacturer who starts with almost nothing but he believed himself and after a lot of hard work he finally succeed. Secondly, from my perspective, setting a goal and believing yourself are another eminent factor for achieving success. People should set their goals and then have some sequential plans in order to reach their goals. It is even better to have plan B and C to get top of the situation and insure that any unexpected accident is under your control then focus on your dream. For instance, a friend of mine has always wanted to go to an English university, she believed herself and her abilities, after chain of failures she immigrates to England and now studies her favorite major which is why I do not believe luck because the things that made her successful were nothing but her hardworking and setting goals. In conclusion, it is not reasonable to believe chance in life and ignore other key factors like hardworking. I think having chance is not reliable these days and it is better to believe yourself and make a broad effort until you get where you want in life.
