Elham Ekrami, [08.01.18 19:07] Some people think that parents should teach children how to be good members of the society. Others, however, believe that school is the place to learn this. Discuss both views and give your opinion. It is essential for each society to teach children how to be good citizens. Moreover, it is vital for possitive outlook of each powerful society to invest in teaching moral values to the next generation . However, it is a debate among many who should take this task on shoulders, Schools or parents. Both sides of this debate will be analysed in this essay before a reasoned conclusion is drawn. On the one hand, parents are the first members of society that children interact with them. Even children often mimic their parents' behaviour. Although parents sometimes don't tend to teach children their manner, they learn quickly because they are in their early ages. Therefore, teaching being how to be a good member of society, first of all, is a must at home. On the other hand, children will experience working and living with people from a whole variety of backgrounds from the wider society at school. Also children think school is a place that where they should be learnt taught every important subject. Furthermore, children are more serious about their school subjects. Then they should have textbooks about moral values besides mathematics, biology and physics. In addition, teachers should value good manners and behaviours more than getting good marks. This way, teachers indirectly make students aware of how good manners and moral features are more valuable. It is obvious that such actions happen only at schools. To conclude, I think both parents and schools are responsible equally to teach children to be good members of any community. It is a matter that should not be ignored by anyone. Also governments need to take more actions to train the next generation of citizens. Elham Ekrami, [09.01.18 07:31] Some people think that it is better to educate boys and girls in separate schools. Others, however, believe that boys and girls benefit more from attending mixed schools. Nowadays, the co-educational system is considered as the best option in many countries. Some believe that it is better if young females and males study separately, while others mention that studying together can be more beneficial. I will discuss both sides and give my opinion.(they had better study separately) Some experts believe that single-sex schools are more efficient because this environment reduces distractions. Moreover, students face less gender prejudice in this model of schools. For example, a girl maybe like a subject that teachers think it is the natural domain for boys. Therefore, she thinks who that she does not possess/have has not enough talent to follow her interest. On the other hand, some educationalists believe mixed schools give more opportunities to children for learning. First of all, students can learn how to interact with the opposite gender and this matter leadsthem to work and live together easier/more easily in the near future of their lifetime. This type of schools also has have advantages for governments. For example, they can fill seats in female schools with males. In other words, authorities don't need to build a new school and pay more teachers' salary because children just should be separated from the opposite gender. As a result, the education budget is significantly reduceds obviously. Personally, I think both models of schools have their benefits. I myself prefer single-sex schools because I at least experienced that and I'm satisfied with the outcome. To some extent, it is due to personal taste and it is up to the parents and children which model is preferable.
