There is a trend of increasing amounts of consumer goods which leads to environmental problems. What are the reasons for this trend? Give your own opinion and solutions. The process of production of consumer goods involves using raw materials which has been extracted from natural resources. This wasteful extraction leads to damaging the environment. Many reasons cause these problems, and in this essay we I explain some measures for tackling those. In this rapidly changing world, in order to providing provide for the population's needs, people need to build factories need to be built. Therefore, trees and forests begin to be cut down, and also agricultural lands should be demolished. With the advent of various kinds of factories, various kinds of the environmental pollution will also emerge. A case in point, degradation of the lands is the result of both the lands and the rainforests. Besides, factories emit dump wastages to in water that causes serious illnesses to their residents. For example, an article has points pointed out that the highest rates of cancers are related to people who live in the north part of Iran. Other than that, that transporting goods from the producer to users has a vital role in destroying the environment is inevitable. In other words, vehicles use fossil fuels that emit tons of carbon dioxide which is equivalent of cutting down numerous trees. To solve/address this crisis, governments should impose strict laws on industries which polluted the environment. Moreover, such industries should be forced to participate in tree planation. On the other hand, it is incumbent on governments to provide facilities for factories to alter their kinds of fuel. To put it simply, they could introduce eco-friendly alternative fuels, such as wind, solar and also atomic power which has are used in France powerhouses. In conclusion, although over consuming/ overusing natural resources is undeniable for today's life, governments, individuals as well as factories should take preventive measures to decrease their adverse effects.
