The role of the youth in a modern society is not something negligible, and by passage of time this role is becoming more and more impressive that in some parts of life only the youth can be involved. The reason and consequences of this change will be discussed in the following lines. Over the last five decades our world has changed dramatically, and with the advent of recent changes in science and technology the relation between people has also changed in myriad of ways that the youth have a pivotal role compared with their previous counterparts. Perhaps one of the main reasons of this dominant role is the power of technology, and its followers who are mostly the youth. In fact, not only is the youth generation more competent using the new solutions we use in everyday life, but they are also pioneers in these fields. Unable to work with new facilities, most of senior citizens are partially depend on the youth. That in this day and age most the youngsters are not dependent to their parents, and by and large to previous generation, rarely respect older members of their society. This respect, however, can lead families to weaken their emotional bonds which are one of the major problems people in all walks of life are dealing with in this day and age. Rarely can we see a prosperously new business managed by an individual over 55. To sum up, I hold the idea that although this change in the youth’ influence made us face with catastrophic results. Entering a new era demands passage of this undesirable period. Only after we pass through such a terrible path, and experience its deleterious impacts can we expect finding its deficiency to build a better future for humanity.
